I have been to visit this monastery many times over the past 10 years, as my brother is a lay brother there. Each time I have gone I have been so amazed at the overwhelming spirit of joy and peace coming from the monks. Father prior is really an amazing, wonderful man and such a strong spiritual father. As hard as it is to leave my brother behind, he and the other brothers are truly the happiest people I have ever seen, so what more could you want for a loved one?

My brother has been a part of this lovely community for almost 4 years now! It has been one of the biggest blessings in our lives! Of course it was difficult at first adjusting to him not being at home but after seeing how happy he is and seeing how much he has grown in his faith and love for God I couldn't ask for anything else. I prayed for the longest time that Our Lord would lead him to a place where he could grow in holiness and the Carmelites have certainly done so. All of the Fathers and brothers are so filled with joy and I always feel like I'm surrounded by saints! Every time we visit the monastery it is like we are visiting family and they always make sure to provide the best hospitality. I couldn't be more grateful to be part of such a wonderful family.

The Carmelite Monastery is a place of peace, joy and beauty. Love for the Lord and our Blessed Mother exude from the monks. We are so blessed to be the parents of one of the monks. We visit every year and are so sad to have to leave a place of such holiness. The monks are so happy! We have never seen such joy in serving the Lord as we have seen in these young men. We see our son only continuing to grow in holiness. We highly recommend to any young man discerning monastic life to reach out to the Carmelite Monks of Wyoming.

I have never met a more amazing group of people than these monks. As a brother of one of the monks I have had the privilege to meet many of them and am always amazed by their kindness, generosity, and humility. They make you feel like family. You can see that God is at the center of everything thing they do and every time I am there I always truly feel his presence in this Monastery.

The Carmelite Monks of Wyoming follow the teachings of St. John of the Cross and T. Teresa of Avila. I have visited them several times and found them to be the most joyful and loving people I know. These are true men of God, spending their lives praying for the rest of us. Plus, they make great coffee and tea!

I may know nothing, but what I do know is that a Bishop of Christ’s Church is the only reason this monastery can exist at all. From what I last observed - a problem within this cloister was removed, and Praised be Jesus Christ for that. I trust Jesus Christ that all should be well now. & If all should know anything about God’s Carmel is that snakes belong OUTSIDE. I’m sorry for the foolishness that evil does to innocent souls who want nothing more than to be one of Christ’s very few friends. I pray that my brothers will remain strong and hidden as Heaven our Bridegroom defends and is present. Ave Maria.

The monastery is a gift to the people of Wyoming and a gift to Catholics everywhere. The monks devote their lives to prayer and sacrifice and we all need more men like them. Recent stories about the monastery should be questioned and not accepted without looking further. I have spent a lot of time at the monastery and know they are men of God.

I absolutely love the fathers and brothers. I've know them for several years now and they are so hospitable, kind and incredibly generous with their time. You can really see Gods goodness shining through them! May our Good Lord reward them for their faithfulness to his will.

A remarkable group of men seeking to live a traditional monastic life in the Wyoming mountains. I recommend that everyone take a very critical view of the recent allegations and not take them at face value. I know the monks well and know that there is very little truth in the Church Militant story.
