Details

Water City Church Oshkosh (est. 2007) is a local Christian congregation rooted in the heart of the city, offering a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere for seekers, believers, and those unsure about their faith. Sunday services begin at 10:00 am and include a message centered on Scripture, genuine worship, and an open invitation to the communion table. The church provides a screen-free kids’ ministry for elementary-aged children and nursery care for infants and preschoolers, with volunteers trained and background-checked. Pastor Jason leads the church, which values authenticity over performance and encourages honest questions and growth in faith through community. The church does not operate as a split from another congregation or as a multi-campus extension, but as an independent, organic community. Ministries include children, pre-teens, youth, college students, and adults, with a specific 55+ ministry for older adults. The church also hosts midweek small groups and a summer book club. Reviewers note a great youth program and a welcoming environment for newcomers.

I was introduced to this church 7 yrs ago. It was the first church that I attended where I felt comfortable and felt that this is a true church. Everyone is so accepting. It's down to earth teachings, with true talk, which makes the learnings more comprehensive. I had such a positive, bright feeling compared to the robotic, monotonous religious churches that I attended my whole life. You take a lot with you when you walk out!

We’re new to Oshkosh and chose to visit this church because we read they had a great youth program. We’ve now been a few times and everyone is so kind and welcoming. I would highly encourage anyone to check them out!
