What a dreamy place to get married! From the lake views to the beautiful and intimate white chapel, Straits Chapel is THE dream place to get married. While Straits Chapel is undeniably a beautiful venue, the experience with the staff leading up to our wedding wasn’t what we had hoped for. With the cost of Kohler and its 5-star rating, we expected better service. We encountered several frustrating issues, including an attempt when we were revising our contract to increase the outside florist fee from the $1,000 we originally agreed and signed upon to $5,000 without any mention besides us reading it in the revised contract. Communication was also lacking — we had to repeat ourselves constantly over email, and they even sent us incorrect documents that belonged to another couple. Another major pain point was our rehearsal. It was scheduled to take place before our brunch at Blackwolf Run, but at the last minute, they tried to change it, saying we couldn’t get into the chapel until the evening prior. Thankfully, this was eventually resolved, but it added unnecessary stress. Side note, our brunch was AMAZING! That being said, the staff was kind overall, the day of our wedding went smoothly, and the location itself is stunning. In the end, we’re happy with our decision to get married there, as it truly made for a beautiful celebration.

Very scenic wedding chapel. Appears wonderfully remote but easily accessible from Sheboygan. Great views and a beautiful interior.

The Chapel is located in the woods on the edge of bluffs with the breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Michigan! Its white modern design exterior is perfect backdrop for your stunning wedding pictures!

Straits Chapel was an absolute dream to photograph at!! Such a beautiful venue space that was clean, modern and elegant surrounded by beautiful grounds and lake views! My clients had their ceremony here and reception at Kohler American Club. Would absolutely recommend! Jaxlens Photography

I absolutely loved photographing a wedding at Straits Chapel this past October. The location is stunning and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

A very unique place for a small wedding with views overlooking lake Michigan. Lots of parking, and Whistling Straits is just up the road for the reception..
