The church is a perfect place to go with your friends and family for church. It has a crying room close to the altar, a bunch of pews, a fellowship hall, and more! It is a nice place I would recommend going to, and it is a beautiful place. It has one organ (two pieces), and a cathedral-styled inside. I would highly recommend this church in Appleton.

as someone who has terrible religious trauma and has stayed far away from churches for a long time, i reached out in a time of crisis and was treated with kindness, compassion, and empathy by both members i spoke to. for the first time in my adult life, i’ll be taking myself and my family to visit this church in support and thanks. if you’re looking to donate anywhere, this church is the place to do so. they are portraying exactly what a follower of christ should and are sharing the love they are called to. even if you’re not religious, they are wonderful and are doing things for the community that not many others are. these are the people who deserve your support and you in their pews. i will forever be grateful.

This is the body of Christ. Brother Ray brings us back our call to dicipleship each week with is homilies. The parish communities is gifted and humble in spirit. I love it here.

Came in for urgent help during a mass so there was no one to help me. I called the number posted outside. No one picked up. Left a message. It’s been a week, and no one’s returned my call.

I left midway through mass. The ushers didn’t have sense to escort 2 fifty something year old men out the door. Both men stood at back wall of the Nave - talking nonstop and chuckling - seriously throughout the readings, homily and after! Both were definite distractions so before I left, I stood in front of them to remind them where they were - but one guy (maybe both) reeked of alcohol when he spoke. Brother Ray used shorter version of the day’s readings and Apostle Creed and which I guess left room (I suppose) for parish members to shout out names to pray for during petitions. Several People came very late to mass. People and ushers (young kids) speak loudly during mass. Quite honestly, it’s the most liberal mass I’ve gone to and I won’t return too. I drove over to St Mary in Menasha 11 am mass (beautiful church) Amazing - Striking difference Beautiful homily - bells and incense and vastly more reverent.

I attended a Sunday mass. It was a very beautiful church with some very lovely people, but I was very disappointed by the service. Someone should tell the Father that the sermon should be about God and not current liberal talking points. I don't believe the Father fully understood that phrasing such as "supporting marginalized groups" and "Jesus was an immigrant/refugee" (among other gems) has a political undertone to it, but the idea lends credence to the fact that leftists would like the US to accept unlimited amounts of immigrants and packaging it as a religious message veils the polarizing political element that doesn't belong in a sermon. I'd agree with the other reviewer who also said that "St. Joseph has been hit by the liturgical wrecking ball known as "the spirit of Vatican 2"" as they would not let us receive on the tongue for Communion, among other things. Again, lovely church, but I'm saddened by what I see and won't be going back again.

The priest is a fryer which I very much appreciate. Truly humble and welcoming. Very lovely church also beautiful ❤️

It is one of the most welcoming Roman Catholic churches you'll find. Brother Ray is always prompt with his masses and makes his sermons relevant. The church community does a lot for local charities and its membership. Be sure to give some love to Snoop, Brother Ray's dog.
