Liturgical, mixed generations of members, hearing the Word of God with proper distinction of law and gospel. Use the new hymnal that has plenty of standard original hymns and added more contemporary hymns. This congregation is celebrating their 175th Anniversary this year. We'll worth visiting.

St. John's Lutheran Church in Newtonburg isn't just a place of worship—it's a vibrant hub of community and education that truly stands out. As a parent, I've had the privilege of experiencing firsthand the warmth and excellence that define this remarkable institution. One of the standout features is the exceptional school program offered here. With a focus on academic excellence and character development, St. John's provides a nurturing environment where children can thrive. The small class sizes ensure that each student receives personalized attention, fostering a sense of belonging and academic success. The hot lunch program is another highlight, offering nutritious and delicious meals that fuel young minds and bodies for a day of learning and growth. It's a relief for busy parents knowing that their children are well-fed and nourished during school hours. Beyond academics, St. John's also offers enriching church services that provide spiritual guidance and inspiration for individuals and families alike. The pastor brings a unique blend of wisdom, humor, and insight to each service, making each visit a thought-provoking and uplifting experience. In conclusion, St. John's Lutheran Church in Newtonburg is more than just a place of worship—it's a beacon of community, education, and spiritual nourishment. With its outstanding school program, hot lunch offerings, small class sizes, and engaging church services, it's a place where families can grow, learn, and thrive together.
