If you are a member, or camper, you have access to the lake for swimming and boating. This is a Church camp, they nightly church services when camp is going. There are dormitories for the campers. I stayed in my son's cabin while there. There is a Royal Ranger camp that is adjacent. Also the Wisconsin/Northern Michigan pastors cemetery. I have family there.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!! Spencer Lake is a beautiful place for Family Camp! I was baptized here in September 2015, Thank you Jesus!!! You showed a single man, with very little family, what Your family really is all about! Living Hope Church, thank you, for being about the business of affecting change for God's Glory! I LOVE YOU ALL, and am looking forward to watching as the Lord's blessings unfold in 2016!!!!

Great place to spend a week. Clear water, and great environment.

What a beautiful place. We just had our family reunion here and it was a blast! The staff and services was great. There are so many fun things to do here. The only regret I have is that I wish we had more time to enjoy all that there is to do.

For the most part, loved this camp growing up. As I grew up, I developed a womanly figure at a young age. Because of this, I was treated like I was kind of a tramp, which couldn't have been further from what was real. Looking back, I realized while I had good experiences, this camp was very cult like. Hopefully, they have realized how they can make a person feel bad about themselves based on the way they look. I actually blame them for my eating disorders trying to stay as thin as possible. Anyway, hopefully they are not this way any more.

Really nice place with plently of space to move and enjoy for activities. However the food here is terrible at times. The food here was like middle school food and personally I felt they never gave enough. You could go for seconds but I mean the quality was a bit lacking. Also some of the food did not taste good. The fruit tasted sour and looked old. I paid $180 for a retreat we have here but the food the camp offers can be so much better

Spencer Lake is a great Camp to send my kids to. It's great to be able to send your kid to camp knowing that swim dress is expected to be modest and wholesome, an almost impossible thing to find these days. Services are fun yet challenging and that they can meet friends where friendships can last a lifetime. Family camp week was fun as well. It's too bad that the beach isn't just open all the time to everyone, but understandably so for security measures when kids camps are going on!! Thanks for all you do for the kids each year!!
