A wonderful, deeply moving experience. I had reservations when I saw all the religious in attendance, since I am only now becoming active in the Church, and felt out of place. But everyone was welcoming & supportive. The masses, adoration, and healing session were beautiful. I received a lot of info which will be helpful in my faith journey, and found some books in the JRH library which I will be ordering. I will try to return monthly to walk the Stations of the Cross on the grounds, and God willing, will return for retreat every year.

Wonderful sacred space! The staff is kind and go out of the way to make you comfortable. Beautiful trails and walks along the shore of Lake Winnebago! The food there is wonderful, too!

Beautiful location. The grounds are neatly kept; a great place to get away and really focus on your relationship with God. The staff is super friendly, and all of their speakers are great! Definitely worth going to and donating.

My favorite getaway place in Oshkosh. It's not publicly accessible like Menominee Park, but it's way more peaceful and feels very remote. Check out their website if you're interested in a retreat.

I have been coming to the Jesuit Retreat House for the last 6 Septembers partaking in one of their many Thursday through Sunday silent retreats held throughout the year. Each time I attend, my soul feels replenished as I commune with God and nature. The grounds are beautiful, right on Lake Winnebago. There are numerous places to sit and reflect both inside and outside the facility. The director of the retreat house and personel are outstanding, as is the staff. The food is delicious and plentiful. Coming here is truly one of the highlights of my year. If you are contemplating a retreat I highly recommend coming here. You will feel renewed...physically, mentally, and most important spiritually.

The weekend of 11/8/14 marked my 21st Retreat at JRH. A brand new 60-bedroom wing will open on 1/1/2015. Each bedroom will have its own bathroom and awesome view of the lake! I highly recommend booking a THU-SUN retreat here. The food is fantastic and the setting is spectacular! The Jesuits have a real treasure here.....

Most peaceful place on the planet! Mass with the best view of God's creation. Wonderful folks to facilitate your stay. Thank you for this little slice of heaven on earth.

I agree with everything the previous reviews said. I took my first retreat there this last March and I'm already looking forward to making another retreat there next year. It's a beautiful location and everyone there is so helpful. I also highly recommend taking a retreat here.

I am grateful for being able to experience the men’s 12 step retreat. The staff and accommodations are excellent. I got what I needed and left the rest. God willing I will go back next year.

Beautiful facility at a gorgeous location. Holy, spiritual-- similar to the Redemptorist Retreat Center on beautiful Crooked Lake, south of Oconomowoc ..

Jesuit Retreat House is located on a lovely property. The Ignation Spiritual Exercises are always valuable for growing in Faith. It is Holy Ground.

Great place. I remember when I was a kid this is where they sent all the priests to dry out.

To find yourself in a silent retreat is how I found recovery of drugs, drinking, and a new way of life and better way to think
