It is sad for the Church to see that Leadership in our Dioceses are there no more. For Bishop Callahan to try to silent Father Altman of speaking the Truth to the church is depressing. There are people that will like to hear the Truth, so …

Bishop Callahan did the RIGHT thing and I have a small degree of respect for him now. Altman should not be condemning entire groups of people, but he appears to be a very angry and bitter person. In fact, what he did could potentially …

Well, OK. I have been to the La Crosse diocese before. In fact literally. The secretary was very nice and helpful but this isn't about her. This is about Fr. James Altman. I was at the diocese there last year to submit a letter of …

Amazing, how the office will not accept any calls. Way to be available to the flock. We have a tremendous amount to say about Fr Altman, and you know it, that is why you cut us off, just like the parishes across this country cut us off. No courage to even listen.

Very disappointing at the lack of "Catholic" Values being taught by the leadership of this diocese. Good shepherds, that are saving souls, are being sidelined, silenced or canceled here. Bad shepherds, that are ruining souls, are being …

It is very unfortunate that Bishop Callahan wants to silence Ft. Altman for speaking the truth!!! This diocese deserves better. Ft. Altman should be regarded as a hero for speaking the truth and proclaiming it loudly.

Well, if other people who don’t live in the diocese can leave reviews, then I can, even though I don’t live in the diocese. What all the father altman defenders overlook is that the church can’t promote an overt political viewpoint and …

Thank you for addressing inappropriate actions of your servants. Political views and opinions do not belong in our Parishes. Teaching the Gospel, Living the Gospel, and compassionately sharing the teachings of the church is what Jesus expects of us....Faith, Love, Truth, Hope and Community should be the focus.....

Thank goodness I dont live in this diocese. I would be ashamed that the Bishop is willing to back Father Altman. Father Altman is speaking the truth and is being silenced.

I was escorted through a private tour of . The main reason I accepted the invite was to see a man made above ground cave that is chalk full from ceiling to walls with huge chunk of crystals that were locally mined. I cannot recall all the …

Fr. Altman is an inspiration to me and helped me overcome discouragement during this very dark year! I love his boldness and proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Fr Altman boldly defended the faith! But there is no one there now to do it since Bishop Callahan silenced him! I will have nothing to do with this heretic Church!

It is shameful what has been done to Fr. Altman. His courage to speak the truth is something that ought to be emulated not reprimanded.

Overall, a great diocese. Good people who love Christ and his Church; many great parishes; an excellent bishop and tons of good, faithful priests.

Praying for Father Altman. Good Shepards are always persecuted. Shame on the Bishop

Love that this parish stood up to extremists that discouraged its parishioners from taking public safety measures. I only wish they would have done so sooner, but better late than never.

I admire Father James' and his pastoral courage to abide Saint Paul's instruction to Timothy. 1 Timothy 6:20,21
