We hired Dells Bells for an officiant for our wedding at a different venue in the Dells. Tara was wonderful with getting us set up and Jerry was a wonderful officiant the day of. Tara walked us through everything we needed to know, explained the marriage license and then certificate process, and answered all of our questions. Jerry was very kind and professional and gave us a lovely ceremony. We appreciated that it was short and sweet yet still meaningful. Thank you Dells Bells!

We got married in March of 2026 and it was amazing! We chose The Dells Bells because we wanted a small ceremony with some traditional wedding experiences added, and this chapel was perfect! They were very friendly and gave us great directions on how to prepare and walk down the aisle, as well as offered for one of my guest to walk me down the aisle. Probably the easiest way to get married!

Wedding at Dells Bells Chapel – October 11, 2025 We chose Dells Bells Chapel for our wedding because of its beautiful location, simplicity, and the great communication we had with Tara leading up to the day. The chapel itself was charming, and the words Jerry shared during the ceremony were meaningful and heartfelt. Those moments were special, and we're thankful for them. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. We brought two small “Reserved” signs and a photo/urn display in memory of our fathers, which meant a lot to us. We were told “no decorations” — even for something so personal and minimal — and the tone used made us feel disrespected. While we quietly went ahead with it anyway, the situation left us confused and hurt. We also felt rushed throughout the entire process. Our wedding took only 20 minutes of the 50 minutes we had reserved, and we were the last couple scheduled that day — so there was no clear reason for the rush. A comment made about the groom’s mother walking him down the aisle (“that’s unusual”) was unnecessary and, frankly, off-putting. Moments like that, along with the overall attitude of the staff, left a negative impression on both us and our guests. It’s unfortunate that when we and our loved ones look back on our wedding day, the first thing that comes up is how we were treated. We sincerely hope the chapel improves in friendliness and flexibility — especially when it comes to honoring loved ones or simply showing kindness.

We had the most perfect drive up ceremony yesterday! Rev. Joles was the absolute best and made us feel welcome. The booking process was so easy and everything was explained in great detail. If you’re looking for a place to get married without all of the fuss and stress I definitely recommend The Dells Bells! Thank you for making our day special!

We were just married at this pretty little chapel on 9/17/2024. We were also able to book within a weeks time which was awesome. Tara and Jerry were an absolutely wonderful team to work with. Not only did Jerry give us a beautiful ceremony, we were allowed to share our own vows. Also, my father asked to have them record the ceremony minutes before it started and they had absolutely no problem with that. Getting married at Dells Bells was an absolute dream for us. We literally have no complaints. Thank you so much!

They were so kind and helpful. I did not have a witness and she stepped in as mine. We didnt feel rushed, and were in and out in 35-40 mins . I was guided the whole way thru, and it was awesome. Great for any couple looking for an elopement. Thank you guys!!!!

We had a chapel elopement at Dells Bells and it went smoother than I could have expected. The paperwork and coordination process when we first arrived was very quick so we were able to jump right into our ceremony. Tara was very professional but also warm and welcoming - she guided us through every step. Revered Joles spoke beautifully during the ceremony. It was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a small/simple but memorable wedding.

I flew in for my sister’s wedding that she was having at the dells bells chapel. We had plans to set up a memorial for the father of the bride and groom as they are no longer with us and decided on a seating pattern so their spot could be reserved. I was asked to set up the memorial and execute the brides wishes for seating. Upon arrival I was asked to be a witness and needed to immediately go into a room to sign paperwork. I asked if I could step away briefly to set up the memorials in which I was told “no decorations” and then I stated I needed to make sure people are sitting according to the brides wishes in which I was told “they’re already seated.” This wasn’t reassuring, this was dismissive. It would have taken me 3 minutes to set up and coordinate and we clearly had the time. I didn’t understand the rush since we only used 20 of the 50 minute time slot. But I get it, we all want to get out of work early. Once I could get into the chapel, as expected, everyone was on the wrong side and had to move. It’s heart wrenching that Tara and the reverend were so dismissive of such a small and sentimental detail of the ceremony. The groom also wanted his mother to walk him down the aisle and the reverend came and grabbed the mother of the bride in error. I felt so embarrassed for the mother of the bride at that moment as she needed to return to her seat. Again, another small important detail that was rushed. I’m not writing this review to bash the dells bells chapel, but to inform them that these small quick weddings do have sentimental value, and the dismissive oversight of small details can all be avoided.
