  One of the best decisions I’ve made as a parent has been bringing my children to Westside Church Spokane. ✝️ As a parent, it was important for me to find a church that prioritized youth services and fellowship to solicit and encourage spiritual connection. Seeing their personal growth and solid foundation be structured and poured into is truly magnificent. We’ve all since been baptized and continue to find opportunities to flourish in faith. It takes a village- and I’m so thankful I found mine. 🫶🏼 Praise God for our church family and influence 🙌🏻

  A year or so ago I was baptized. And I’ll be honest—I was scared to share my faith. I didn’t want to be mocked and I didn’t feel “qualified” in scripture. (I still don’t. That book is a big one, folks 😉) For most of my life I thought Christians were judgmental. I thought they looked down on me for my past, for being a single mother and for being an addict. I distinctly remember walking into a church when my oldest was 2-3 years old and feeling as though all eyes were on me. I thought to myself “I am imperfect and dont belong here. All of these people are judging me.” I internalized all of my pain and thought somehow these people saw nothing but darkness. Because at the time that’s all I felt. Alone, broken and empty. Not good enough. Unloveable. I was a literal mess. For YEARS! Even after I first came to know Jesus 12 years ago, I still fell back into addiction. I still tried to do things my way. It wasn’t until we found Westside Church Spokane that I truly began to understand just how wrong I was about not belonging. I have never felt more loved, seen and heard as I have in a church since the moment my family and I walked through their doors for the first time. I feel compelled to share this because with everything going on I keep seeing people exclaiming how judgmental Christians are. How we “spread hate.” And believe me when I say—I get it. I do. I once thought the same thing. Unfortunately there are Christians out there who can be cruel, harsh and judgmental. But just because we follow Christ doesn’t mean we are exempt from sinning or making mistakes. Just because we are Christian doesn’t mean we are perfect. And just because some Christians have treated you poorly in the past doesn’t mean we’re all that way. It’s not our job to judge or condemn you. It is our job to love you, just as Jesus said: “Love each other as much as I have loved you.” My faith isn’t about perfection—It’s about grace. If you’re “shopping around” for churches and want to feel included, loved, welcomed, seen, and heard then check us out. You won’t be disappointed.

  The Westside Church has changed my life for the better. I was baptized in 1970 and have gone to churches most of that time. I did not grow spiritually untill my daughter brought my wife and me to Westside Church. I am learning more spiritual things in just a little over a year than all those other years. GOD is good and I am so blessed to be here. Thank you Westside Church and Pastor Cory.

  Our family walked through the doors of Westside Church for the first time in October 2023 and we haven’t missed a week since! Pastor Cory’s messages are always honest, refreshing and so easily applied into our life. Our kids love going to youth group on Wednesday nights - they’ve made lasting friendships and drawn closer to Jesus. We’re so grateful for our church community and the positive growth in our family.

  Pastor Cory Tobin is a vessel of the Holy Spirit. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel like part of the family the minute you walk in . The message given weekly is the perfect place for a first time church visitor and even deeper for a well schooled Christian. The worship team is second to none. My favorite part.

  This place and the people here have changed my life forever! I am so grateful for everything Pastor Cory has poured into my life. Everyone here is welcoming and genuinely excited to see one another each week. They have two service times in the morning. I also do love the added donuts and fruit they supply! God is good and He is working. I will tell you that He is working in place and is ready for everyone that is willing to step out!

  Smaller church with amazing services, messages, and people. You are greeted and welcomed with love. Did I mention the free coffee and donuts before service. God is definitely working in this church! Come find a friend, neighbor, or new family member.

  I love this church. The teaching is right on. The prayers are right on. Everyone is sweet and friendly. My life has changed from the moment I walked into this church 8 months ago. If you are looking for a church family, this is the place! Give it a try, you’ll be happy you did!

  We felt so welcomed and they are quick to make you feel like family. Our kids love children's church and you quickly sense the Holy Spirit's presence through-out the worship and the message. God is doing amazing things here!

  Visited here a month ago. No one say Hi to me at all but one elderly lady. One guy kept coming up to me wanting to know why I came there. VERY rude. The one lady talked to me after service. They had no visiter card to fill out. She did make sure I got a cup for being there. She had talk to the pastors wife. She looked at me but had no interest in saying hi. Pastor talked about tithing and offering. He talked about how the poor or stingy with their money and how they keep it to themselves. And said that the the rich give more. How wrong is he?! What about the woman that was a widow that gave her last few coins. She gave more than anyone else. I found this church very judgemental.
