A wonder place, precisely because of the wonderful people! I attended the “Young Adults Explore Buddhism” retreat and it was life changing to say the least. Regardless If you’re looking for a sincere dive into “Buddhism”, if you’re interested in psychology, or if you simply want to spend quality time with kind-hearted people, please, visit the Abbey! The food is also amazing 😋

A spiritual home for all beings. My time at Sravasti Abbey - receiving teachings in-person, offering service alongside monastics and other visitors, and participating in the daily schedule of activities, including group meditations, has helped me to learn what dharma practice can look like and feel like. This is not something I could learn from reading a book or watching videos on-line. I encourage anyone who is interested in cultivating more peace, love, and compassion in their mind/heart to connect with this very sincere community of Buddhist practitioners and friends. It has a non-sectarian feel to me, open-minded, respectful and safe for anyone exploring spirituality, while also honoring the traditions and ancient lineage practiced by the teachers there. It’s an amazing privilege to spend time at this monastery, and I look forward to future visits and opportunities to offer service.

An amazing place filled with wonderful, amazing, caring, loving people. A place of peace, of learning, of serenity. I cannot say enough good things about the Abbey and it's folks.

This place changed my life. Everything I have today is because of The Abbey. Friends, wife, even my car was derived from my visit here. I moved to be closer to this second home. Where I continue to maintain friendships, and bonds with all of those that I meet here.

Sravasti Abbey is a home away from home. The nuns and monk make you feel welcome and will help you strengthen your practice, no matter where you are along the path. The peaceful setting and daily structure will help you create much virtue. Being in the presence of Ven. Chodron, benefiting from her teachings, is a great honor and blessing. May Sravasti Abbey flourish!

Very quite, peaceful and serene place. The rules of the place and the resident Shangha make it so nice to be at the place.
