I have been looking for a church for my husband and daughter and I to join since we moved to Bonney Lake 2 years ago. I needed a church that was bible based but also was open to everyone. A church that was not stuffy, instead a church full of music and life that teaches about the bible in a way we can relate to it through our lives today. The moment we walked through the door at Open Life we felt welcome. Our daughter loves the children's program where she learns weekly and gets to play and meet new friends. The adult service is truly amazing. The music is uplifting and fills our souls. Then the pastor talks and with every week we are taught lessons, lessons we can take with us for the following week. In less than 2 months we have found a home for our family. It has enriched our marriage and helped calm us all. God answered our prayers. All Team Members at the Bonney Lake Church are truly Outstanding!!

I started going to open life two months after they had first launched their "church at the movies," and my husband auditioned to be their worship drummer. I had fallen away from God, and I felt so disconnected from the world and lost, because I had grown up in a home where we believed in God and went to a Catholic church every Sunday. Open Life was the first church I had went to that made me feel at home, and like I could be myself without judgement. I ended up helping volunteer in the mornings with production and set up, and I really enjoyed giving back to the community in this small way. Being the face when people walked in to greet them, and say "welcome," and truly MEAN it. You are WELCOME there. All are. It doesn't matter what history you have, any bad you've done, they take you as you are, and help you either find God or rebuild the strength that was lost in him. The messages are clear and simple to understand which was a huge plus for me. They give you coffee (who can honestly resist that in the mornings?!) and play aaaamazing worship music. I'd get lost in worship and feel the closest to God I had ever felt, not only each week, but in my entire life. Their small groups helped us connect to the members/leaders and not only learn about God, but about each other. They'd challenge us weekly with little things, always to get us thinking or to just better our lives and lead people into this awesome journey of finding God. My husband and I had the opportunity to go here for over 3 years, we made great friendships out of going there, and sadly had to leave because my husband got offered a worship leader job at another church. Open Life helped my husband and I grow in our relationship before we got married, and helped guide us and pave this road for us that I was so lost on in the beginning. We were lucky enough to bring our daughter there for her first year of life, and she was dedicated to God with our family and friends there. The pastors are amazing and love people and getting to know each individual. Come as you are!

My wife and I started attending OL almost two years ago. In all the churches that I've been to in my 40 years of faith, I have never met a group of people who are as genuine about their faith and love for Jesus Christ and others as OL. We are hooked and want to make a difference just like they have in our lives!

I've grown up in churches and thought that most were about the same until I found Open Life. Their philosophy made me challenge what I thought churches were supposed to be about. I found that their desire to shine the light of Jesus into and throughout the community and put motion into their faith by way of not only outreach but downright good works -- just to show the love of Jesus -- fits well with all that I know about God and what Jesus would do - what He did do - when He himself was made flesh and dwelt among us. This is a place for spiritual people who want to live a more full, meaningful life.

Friendly accepting people who love Jesus, care about each other, try to make a difference in our community and are fun to be with. Lots of kids and families, plus the retired faithful. All together trying to figure out and share life together as believers in Jesus. I love it here!

Wonderful church focused on loving God and loving people! The most friendly and fun pastoral staff I’ve come in contact with in years :) I also love how each week they discuss their strategic partnerships and the impacts the church is having that are reaching around the world!
