Visited for the first time last weekend. Took my kids ages 7 and 9. They both had a blast. I love that they have security for the kids area. I enjoyed service and everyone was very welcoming. I loved the music. I plan on going again.

If I had to pick which church is more beautiful, between Notre Dame and Motion Church. I would pick Motion Church!

This is my church so I have a total bias review ☺️ but if you are looking for a big church an excellent children’s ministry and spirit searching sermons this is your place. Pastor Roger is invested in build leaders among the community and bringing families of faith together outside of church.

Great place to take the whole family. Upbeat church not for the timid. Great place to get involved with community, small groups, celebrate recovery, ministry institute, boom camp, and so many things to get our youth involved in Jesus!

Not a good Christian church in my opinion very judgemental people and agressive towards me some guy came rushing up to me this morning slamming his door with his fists clenched ready to fight and position himself to ram my vehicle and put his bright lights in my face trying to intimidate me and told me to leave said he works for the church . they are not welcoming and i am an ordained minister .

Disappointing Experience I recently attended a service at this church, and unfortunately, it was not the uplifting and welcoming experience I had hoped for. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and the service lacked the warmth and inclusivity that I value in a spiritual community. The message delivered seemed disconnected and failed to resonate with the congregation. I left feeling disheartened and unsure if this is the right place for me. I appreciate the effort put into the service, but it fell short of creating the sense of connection and inspiration I seek in a church community.

Wow. The people are so nice and genuinely joyful. They have so many amenities. From childcare for all ages, and a huge slide and clubhouse right in the middle of the foyer to the cafe. Even praise and worship is great. I felt like I was at a genuine concert. Light shows and a live band added to the experience. overall it was incredible.

My family has been attending Motion Church for nearly 6 yrs. People are friendly and welcoming. You are greeted with a smile before you even enter the doors. The kids ministry is wonderful! Our daughter practically drags us as we walk to her class. Pastor Sean is the South Hill Campus Pastor, and is such a great guy! He has such a shepherd's heart, and truly cares about people. He's always willing to talk, counsel, and pastor. The worship at Motion is fantastic! It's contemporary and current, with some older songs thrown in every now and then. It's not your traditional "sing out of hymnals" type of worship, although a hymn will get thrown in every once in a while. The teachings are always great! Pastor Roger is killer at giving context to a message by explaining the Biblical history/background before starting his message. The messages are always relevant, and applicable to life. Motion is a big church, but has many active Community Groups (small groups) available and ready to get people connected. Getting connected really is key to getting to know other people in the church, and making the church feel more personal and like home. We highly recommend Motion Church to anyone looking for a welcoming, life-giving church.

Today was our 2nd visit in a month, we're looking for a home church. We really enjoyed worship both times. I don't like that it is so dark in there. I can't see my Bible or take notes, I don't understand this at all. Then scriptures they post on the screen are so small you need a magnifying glass to see. Then today at the end of the service, they BLASTED the music so ridiculously loud it hurt my eardrums, not cool at all and absolutely no consideration for the congregation just so the pastor could show off. I doubt we'll come back. Very very disappointing!! Two stars only because worship was good.
