  The Pastors here do not give you what you want to hear but what you need to hear. they stand up for the truth & don’t back down when hard times come. I’ve been going to the youth for almost 5 years & it’s helped me grow in my faith so much. Jake Archer is not only a wonderful leader but he cares about his youth students lives & is always ready to talk when you need some advice or support . I’ve also made Spirit filled friends that lead me closer to Christ!

  I visited Motion Church last Sunday and was incredibly moved by the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and felt an immediate sense of belonging. The service was spiritually rich, clear, and deeply meaningful. I was especially inspired by the pastor—despite having just come out of surgery and taking a long flight, he still showed up with strength and delivered such a powerful, heartfelt message. That level of dedication and grace truly spoke to me. I’m so grateful to have found this church community and look forward to returning!

  First time in over 15 years I been to church in the USA! Enjoy it alot, and was super glad I came! People were very friendly and the staff was also! Will be back next Sunday for sure! Don't read the negative reviews, check it out for yourself!

  Wonderful worship service and pastor is funny and leads boldy and speaks in a way that can reach the average person. Everyone was warm and welcoming. The whole family loved it! Granbabies loved it and asked if we could go every day. But it might of just been the ice cream 😉 …

  Came in for Saturday evening. Pastor was way too focused on pushing his own opinion rather than teaching people what the bible actually says and how to apply it and be stronger Christians. The sermon was about worship and how if you are not performing a particular way during the worship service then you're not a real Christian. Using shame to get people to bend the knee and perform to a man on stage is not of God, it is of the devil. Pushy and hypocritical, seems a spirit of elitism not of God. This was my personal experience. I hope it was just a fluke. Seems a lot of money is put into decorations on stage, not sure what that's about. Security guy was welcoming. 1 John 4:1

  ‼️ warning ‼️ do not send your kids here they are not safe. I have gone to this church since I was 12, I have served here, lead groups and raised my young kids here. I have spent well over 15 years going here, my photos in the lobby, photo on the app etc and yet still no one knows my name. This is all a show, Roger while I think might be a good person is very theatrical, focused on numbers, money and politics. I sent my son to both motion Christian school and to their youth camp both which were a total let down. Mostly to the safety and wellbeing of the students. My son had a teacher who was chronically ill, didn’t communicate with families and gave poor grades only because she didn’t finish grading papers. She also told my son his dad was going to hell and other students that their families weren’t the “right” type of Christians. The youth camp exposed youth to pornography by allowing students on their phone after advertising a phone free camp, dismissing my concerns and calling it their philosophy to let kids have that freedom and showed no empathy or desire to change policy. Roger and Jake are missing the mark to make true connections with the youth but instead want to be cool, trendy and take the friend approach. But our kids need leaders who will step up and protect their innocence and help shelter them from weight of the world. I am so disappointed in this place I use to call home. It turned into a circus. Please keep your kids safe do not send them to the camp or to the school or Sunday services here.

  My daughter has really enjoyed attending youth group here, and it's been a positive experience for her. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed to see one of the youth pastors wearing clothing with political statements. Regardless of personal beliefs, I find this inappropriate—especially in a space meant to nurture faith and community. Young teens are incredibly impressionable, and when they come to church, they should be met with a focus on Christ—not political messaging, whether left or right. The separation of church and state exists for a reason, and I’m now seriously reconsidering whether this is the right environment for my daughter.

  After only attending one service here, on Christmas Eve, it’s clear that this church is what’s wrong with modern day culture-chasing evangelical churches in America. Roger Archer shows the same cliches seen in so many other celebrity pastor wannabes, wearing a flashy gold chain, trendy clothes, and loud charismatic preaching that focuses little on scripture and more on living “the life you want.” At the end of the service he sat down at a baby grand piano, played and sang “a strange way to save the world,” then closed by bringing his family onto the stage; crediting his family’s years of toil and sacrifice for the “6000 people that would be attending Christmas Eve services across the greater Puyallup area.” Because, after all, that’s what Christmas is all about. Arrogance is not a strong enough word to describe the air of narcissism that Roger Archer displays as he parades around the stage. It’s hard to imagine him as someone familiar with the teachings of Jesus. This church is a clear example of 2 Timothy 4:3. Steer clear. Update 12/24/2024: decided to go back and find the video. The chain, the piano ballad, the video screen. It’s all as I remember it.
