HopeCity is very different from most churches in a good way! This welcoming, friendly, authentic group of people make you feel like you’ve been friends for a while. This church is all about connection with God and each other! ❤️ Pastor Jacob is passionate about his God and teaches 100% from the Bible. You can understand even if it’s your first time attending a church. Kids and adults enjoy singing the music with the praise team. There is a free breakfast before the Bible Study groups and lunch after the program where you can really get to know people. There are also informal groups that meet throughout the week to connect and learn more about Biblical topics. I love all the ”younger generation” that this church is drawing to become part of HopeCity! They also have a great kids program. If you’ve been turned off by religion and other churches, please try HopeCity South Hill once. You will find a church home.

Love love love this church! Never been a part of a more welcoming and loving church. They always provide free breakfast and lunch, there’s amazing worship, study groups and always a great sermon. Come check it out! All are welcome!

From the first moment my husband and myself met Pastor Jacob Serns and his lovely wife, Taty, and found out they were starting a new Church in South Hill, I knew it was where we would be going. I don’t think you will find a Pastor and Core group who are going to care more about you and walk along side you in your journey to learn more about what the Bible says on how we should follow Jesus. If you are looking for a Church family, I highly recommend giving HopeCity a try. Meet on Saturday mornings.

This is an absolutely amazing place to get to know God! The pastor is awesome and the members make you feel right at home. The official launch date is November 15th with some preview services coming up on October 4th and November 1st!

I’ve been coming here for two months and I love it. Church is new for me and my family and we are excited for every Saturday. Coffee, breakfast, lunch, child programs. Worship. Amazing place.

Hope City South Hill Church is a beautiful new church plant with a God led powerful sense of purpose and community. I was moved by the authenticity of the worship team and the heart-led leadership of the pastor. Their commitment to doing God’s work is evident in every service, every prayer, and every outreach effort. As they prepare to launch in their new and official place of worship, I’m filled with excitement and hope for all that’s ahead. This church isn’t just building a congregation, it’s building a foundation for healing, connection, and spiritual growth. I pray they continue to grow into a constructive and integral part of our society, bringing light and love to everyone they encounter. If you’re looking for a place to worship, serve, and be spiritually nourished, Hope City South Hill is worth visiting. Their journey is just beginning, and is already inspiring.

What a Spirit filled group of sincerely loving Crristian people! If you are searching for a great church family this is the place for you. Jesus said to spread His message to all people's and these people belive in the words "Let's Go!" If you love singing and praising God He has His arms wide open and says "Come unto me all who are heavy laden and I will give you rest." Just Come and see for yourself!
