My husband and I were actually looking for information about a homeless person who had our car and was evidently living in it. We didn't expect too much help, but we were hoping... having chili, we had hoped to be greeted by... someone weren't. Also, I had wanted to talk about volunteering to help delivering food boxes. No one ever approached us in any way so we could talk about helping. Not to mention a possible lead on our car. We did share a table with a homeless man who opened up and talked freely after awhile. Our car became totally secondary to his problems. We left feeling that we were very blessed! But still had no opening to ask about volunteering. It was also obvious that the person with our car was not a frequent visitor. I was expecting at least some kind of monetary donation jar or something. There wasn't one...which I could understand. But I do wish someone had been there to at least greet us or say... something to us.

This place is just like all the reviews are. A great place and great people. The Pastor and his Wife are Phenomenal. Very warm loving and real Christian folks. A real blessing to the Community of Centralia. The Community would be a much lesser place without this place. I urge all folks doing better than average to give to this church and help them all that you can. Brandy who works for Gather is a really down to earth gal who lives her heart on her sleeve And likes to help people Thumbs up to a great place and even better people.👍👍👍🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

Called the Salvation Army for help in getting a part for my truck so I could get back to work. They informed me to call The Gather they would help. Called Gather talked to a lady there. Told her what was going on and what kind of help I needed that was on 01/04/23. Told her I needed a small part for my truck that cost $30. She took my information and said she would page the pastor. Let her know information on truck. So now I have waited two days to hear from her and nothing yet as of today. A preacher does keep in touch with his church. I guess if you are not a drug user, homeless or need drug help this church won't help you. Nor I guess this church don't get grants that help regular people. Sorry Gather but I guess Blakely Junktion is more important then someone that tries to lead a good life. Never done drugs, never smoked.....Thanks for the Christian help. I am sure God will reward you. Oh I had a bunch of camping items I was going to donate to help. Three sleeping bags, 4 tents(2 never used), cot, foldable pick nick table, inflatable mattress, pad. But now the dump it all goes. God bless

They're doing great work! If you're in need of some free food during these tough times, go to their website: gatherstockbox.com to get a Food Pantry box delivered to your door on Thursdays between 2-6 pm in Centralia and Friday for the rest of Lewis County. If you need food right now and can't wait till Thursday or Friday, call them and they'll do their best to bring it out to you the same day. Be sure to let tgem know if you have a means to cook or not. If you do they will usually give you some kind if meat to cook! Also check out Salvation Army, they are helping during COVID as well when many other places have closed. Thank you Gather Church for keeping my family Fed and everything else you've done for us when we were in need! Bless you all!
