I was in town for work. I found their website and reviewed their statement of faith, which is solid. When I showed up, I was greeted by three different people right away, and not in a pushy manner. One lady, Corey, even invited me to stay for the luncheon afterwards and sat with me. The singing praise was good, lead by a lady with a strong, beautiful voice. We sang 4 songs, 3 were modern, 1 was a hymn mixed with a modern verse. I would not have minded a few good old fashion rousing hymns thrown in. And if you don't realize that hymns can be rousing, you're not singing them right! ;) I was able to praise through singing. The preaching was straight from the Bible and solid. I'm not sure if the preacher was a pastor, an elder, or just a fill-in. He mentioned preaching intermittently and was dressed casually. However, he knew the Bible, and was able to exegete the passages he taught on meekness. Altogether, this is a solid, Christ and Bible-centered church, from my one visit. If I lived here, I would feel right at home in this church.
