This church is so amazing. There are so many loving and kind people here who are ready to pray for anything you need in every twist and turn life has in store for you. On Tuesday nights there are youth groups for grades 6-12. There is also fun food providing events like Midweek, which has food for all ages, has quarters where it runs and then took a break for a bit, and happens on Thursdays, just not all. Visit the Cedar Springs church app by subsplash, download able on mobile for updates and volunteering opportunities. Visit us sometime!

This church is so focused on loving the community and showing the love of Jesus to everyone. They feed the hungry every week, both at their food bank and also in the schools. They have a Mathew 25 ministry that goes out to the community and serves the poor. They disciple the people and teach them how to touch our community. Everyone is so loving and welcoming. They also are involved in making a difference in Kenya. After just a short time, they have become one big family to us.

We've moved around a LOT over the years, and attended and visited many churches as a result. We showed up here a year ago after moving to the area, and found insta-family. There are so many amazing things that Cedar Springs is doing right. Strength: Community It is one of the few churches we've attended where we had instant community that felt like family. Church members that call or reach out to us if we are missing more than a Sunday or two--just to see how we are doing or to let us know we are missed. We linger after services, talking and making plans - more than any other church we've attended. Hospitality is such a huge value at this church, and they are constantly looking for ways to increase community. Strength: Compassion I found this church specifically because I did a search on local FB groups to see what churches were active in the community--I stumbled upon a few posts for their food bank. The church fosters compassionate people who are engaged in serving their community with programs like a food bank and addiction recovery. I have heard those who attend these ministries are super blessed by them--and the recovery program is life-changing for many. Strength: Leadership Style & Church Values The leadership makes a real effort to meet the needs of the body. They are approachable and welcoming. The elder team is structured more like a group emphasizing each person's strengths, rather than a single pastor who takes on the responsibility for vision, and teaching (even though there is still clear headship). They focus on solid Biblical teaching--very rooted and grounded in the Word, yet totally uplifted in the Holy Spirit during worship and fellowship times. There is a great value placed on prayer. Spiritual gifts are active here, and there is a growing hunger to pursue them. These are values of the leadership, and they are evident in teachings, emphasis of services, and special events. Strength: Kids & Youth My older kids really enjoy the youth group, and my 13 year old son could barely sleep last night because he's so excited for their Back to School luau tonight. My youngest is in first grade and enjoys children's ministry--which is launching some new classes and programs this year. Middle school and high school students stay in service for the teaching, younger kids stay in service through worship and are then dismissed to Sunday school classes. In all, we've found Cedar Springs to be a place where we can grow, belong, and serve. There is room for more at the table!

This has got to be the best church I've been to. We were welcomed and felt like family from day 1. In fact, we make a 45 min drive to be there. This place makes Beca and I very excited when Sunday morning rolls around. That hasn't happened in a long time !

I felt at home the first time I walked in the door. Friendly, salt-of-the-earth people who welcomed me in and make me feel like family. Sound, Biblical theology, youthful & energetic pastor. This is like the Acts 3 church. Very involved with the community, Kid-Safari & Harvest House. Rock-ish sounding, theology-based worship. I've been going here for about 6 years and I love these people, this is my Church-Family.

The people at Cedar Springs are some of the nicest people on earth. I have attended church here and have also helped out when they were short volunteer's. It is a close group of people who are very welcoming to everyone who comes there and is why I felt so comfortable and accepted into their family. Thanks to everyone at Cedar Springs for all you do. God bless you.
