Not much in the way of faith going on in here, just people raising their hands pretending to feel the holy spirit. Those who walk with Christ go out to fight for those people who need to be protected from those pretending to follow Christ's example. "churches" where people seem to want to be noticed praying have the least faith to begin with, and the most susceptible to propaganda.

I love the time of worship the most, and was on the worship team for a few years. Solid biblical teaching, and I have wonderful connection with the people who come here. I’ve visited other churches, but this is my church home for the last 8 years.

Dean Braxton was speaking and his message is so powerful if you've never heard him before look him up you won't regret it.amd if you don't know the Lord he can tell you all about him. Jesus he is alive and he is real. This is a wonderful place to go If your looking to get to know the Lord on a deeper more personal level. Filled with his love and his people.

I've sat under Pastor Butler's teaching for 31 years now and I can honestly say no teacher/preacher measures up to him. I adore his sense of humor and his passion for the Lord is admirable. Many many times as I sat in Pastor Butler's service I have felt the presence of the Lord. Pastor Butler's lessons are Bible based and have developed my faith quickly to a mature Christian. My life has been significantly blessed by "growing up" under his schooling. If your looking for a church to raise you quickly into a mature Christian, complete with Bible versus and life lessons, then this is your church. I encourage you to come be a part of a great movement of Christ. God Bless Pastor Butler for his service to the Lord.

By His Word Christian Center is my church that I've been attending since 1983. They have a website that you can listen to the service and messages weekly to the archives from times passed. You will grow in the word of God, bible, and be blessed. I highly recommend you attend and fellowship with this body of people who love the lord and one another. You will experience annoited song service, in praise and worship, then be blessed with the Word of God taught from Bible. Read the church vision and purpose written by Pastor Jann Butler He is proven,tried, and has consistency to be true to his vision and purpose. God Bless you!

I attended bhwcc back in 1997-98 when my husband was stationed in Ft Lewis. All these years I still miss them. I have never been so blessed as I was there. If for some reason we were ever to go back to Tacoma I'd be there in a heartbeat.

I love Wednesday Nights which is meat night. Great deep teaching, a lot of revelation on the books of the bible.
