When our son was getting married we needed a venue. Pastor Jerome, his wife Tammy and many of the ladies reached out to us throughout the whole process. I have attended church since I was a small child. This group of people showed us so much love. We decided to make a change. No where in this city (coming from a rural area) had we ever been loved so much. We have been there now over 18 months and have made our home with them.

I always hear the holy spirit speak to me and the pastor and his wife treat you like family. The encouragement and enlightenment I get here is the best I've experienced. I've been to big churches and felt like a number but if your looking for a church family this is the church for you.

I may be over 3,000 miles away but this church is still a big part of my life. Worship at AVF Church is not just in song; it's in every aspect and every minute of everything that goes on at this church. Sunday Mornings, weeklypport bible studies, support, groups, Earth Shattering Concerts, food bank and just an ending amount of encouragement and love from every person in this church. AVF CHURCH is so full of the Living Spirit and Presence of our Savior that it cannot contain it. GODs love and the Spirit of his Son, JESUS CHRIST, overflows into the community.

These are good people I’ve lived in this neighborhood my hole life and rarely step into a church but there very welcoming I enjoy talking to the pastor casually from time to time very down to earth folks! I might just stop in on Sunday😊 …
