The beautiful green of Vermont in June winked in through the antique glass. Cooling cross breezes came in through open doors. And, under the balcony, against the outer wall by one of those doors, the acoustics were pleasantly equal. Renaissance vocals, performed by Ampersand and its community chorus offshoot, resonated and filled the space movingly. The Round Church was a classic and perfect setting for such a unique afternoon concert.

The place is charming. A "round" church built about the time of the War of 1812. Historical landmark. And our guide, Paul, was amazing. Excellent history from a pleasant man. And he even played the organ for us. We just happened by the place, but it's a highlight of the vacation.

Very cute little church! Spent more time here than I expected. There were some very nice volunteers there that were able to give a lot of interesting facts about the church. There is also a nice park like area next to the church with a monument to honor a local Olympic winner. Nice local history here!

The round church is an absolute cream puff of historic architecture and a visual blessing on the landscape. May it forever look adorable in all seasons. The live music that occasionally happens inside is well-worth attending. Even their portolet is charming.

Beautiful old church. It was closed but we were able to take pictures through the windows and read about the history of the church.

Very cool little church with no corners so the devil couldn't hide. Lol. Cute place, or was closed when we went and training, but still a fun stop and cool little place to check out.

The docent was terrific. We learned about the multiple congregations that shared the space. You can see old graffiti from the boys in the balcony! So funny as a teacher. The space is beautifully kept.
