1/2hr went by without one scripture being read. So sad. So empty. So self-glorifying. This is a 7/11 church; i,e, same seven words sung 11 times. Didn’t Jesus say not to use vain repetition? That’s all I heard in 1/2hr; vanity and repetition. How I wanted to worship since all the greeters were warm and welcoming. Now I can never return. Free tee shirts and coffee cannot make up for the gospel drought. Beware, for your congregants may one day hear, “depart from me, I never knew you.”

Today is a blessed Sunday. I met many people I also enjoyed spending time with you and our prayer time. God bless your community and bless you all. I am with you today, not by plan, but by chance. I'm a Truck driver. The coincidence was that I was driving to Maryland and the truck suddenly broke down and I took it to a garage in Richmond to fix it, and they said they would fix my truck by Monday, 06/16/25 and I staying in Richmond in a hotel. While I was staying at a hotel until my track was repaired, members of your church had prepared breakfast next door (building) of the hotel on Saturday morning. An unnamed woman( I don't catch her name) was walking down the corridor of the hotel saying, “We have breakfast join us everybody " I also went to their breakfast area and had breakfast. There I met a family of Mr. Ted Henderson with his wife and children and we got to know each other well and exchanged a contact. On Saturday Mr. Ted Henderson invited me to join you at your church this Sunday, 06/15/2025 and I accepted his invitation. He picked me up this morning from the hotel where I was staying and had a wonderful time of prayer with you today. He also drove me back to my hotel after the church. God bless you Ted Henderson with your Family, and God bless you all!! Have a blessed Sunday. Happy Father's Day to you all. HAILE TSAEDA June 16/2025.

I am proud to call Weag my home 🥰 I have built many great connections with people here! 🥹 I have found my family ❤️🩹🥹 if you’re thinking of visiting definitely stop by one Sunday! All are welcome and come as you are. Perfect for children as well there’s a children’s church, games, activities, etc. There is even a small group called “connections” it’s right after church so you can get connected with the pastor and have that small group personal time. I love it 🙂 “you’ll never walk alone” there is always someone willing to help and guide you. Hope you come visit us Sunday at 10am 😎

Absolutely wonderful and spiritual experience as always at the Glorious Christmas Night play! Our family has been attending every year for the last four years and every play is a delight to see and be a part of. The best play yet was the 50's enactment, what excitement!! All have been great though with superb acting and a truly holy message. God bless y'all and please keep the show going and spreading the good news of Jesus Christ!

I have been attending the annual Christmas play for several years and have always enjoyed it. From the parking lot to the red vests volunteers, everyone is pleasant and helpful. Most of all, it's a creative way to spread the teaching of Christ's birth. Keep up the fantastic work.

Awesome, new aged Church setting, with regular service in the sanctuary and a more liberal service in the gym. This church is a big Church, so you would have to not mind that type of setting, but regulars definitely all know each other. There are tons of things for the whole family to get involved in, especially for the kids... From a preschool, to Wednesday evening activities and Bible study for kids and adults as well as Mom's Morning Out and Evening music and dance lessons. We love the annual Fall Festival!

Ever since 2020 the church has turned from God and chose to be filled with hate for people not like them - Went from a 6000 individuals attending to less than 1000- known if you question the wokeness of the church then they send out letters banning you from the church I attended since 1990’s Left in 2020 So sad the congregation doesn’t feel welcome CHAPEL RVA - is where most of the congregation has flooded to because church is about welcoming people no matter their views and beliefs and just Teach the word of God

When I say my entire family loves this place I mean it. My 3 year old, 12 year old and 41 year old husband. You develop a thirst for following Christ and want to learn more. The bible study groups are engaging and thought provoking. Your children will be ministered to in the youth groups. The Holy Spirit thrives in this place!!

The performance was very spot on with relating to this generation. It was funny and intertaining, as well as informative as to the many distractions that are out there in our lives today. Social media is such a huge part of today’s life styles, and it can be very difficult to keep the reason for season in focus!! Great finnaly as all ways!!

Beautiful production and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. It is such a blessing to spread the message of love and peace. May God continue to bless you as you carry out his message through your production. I loved every minute of it.

This church revolves around its Christmas Play, it only has normal hours from Jan. until June, then it goes into its summer session (vacation session). From September until October it's pretty normal, but the second week of October that Play gets going again, everything comes in second place after that. If you like being involved with entertainment it's your kinda place. Many believe in the Prosperity movement which has no Biblical basics but I don't think the Minister buys into it, but he can't stop it either, it's a business after all.. It's a mini mega church but their are plenty of groups you can fit into if only part of the year. I guess it's a great church for women because the ratio is four women to one man, Or its a bad place for women because if a lady needs help there are few men (as in none) to lend a hand. Once a women gets in the click she will get finanical help, I doubt a man would get any thing but a boot. The rock and roll services are spectacular and extremely entertaining. Who would find it a best choice, certainly upper middle class families that like the Performing Arts at a Church that's not overly religious, it will not cramp your style. It was at one time many years ago a penticostal church, but after attending this church for years I only experienced one sprital event. So dont worry its not a Pentecostal Church. Oh boy what I don't like is they sing way too much. It cost 60,000 per week to run this organization, so it's got it going on.

If one believes balance is the key to life then you will probably thrive here. Very wise leadership that count themselves as equals with those that attend. It changed my life for the better. Just yield to your creator and give him your heart. Those that seek him find him.

My mom who was my best friend loved this church and I was baptized by the previous and amazingly god gifted pastor John. Any Assembly of God church is a church of God! ❤️❤️❤️

WEAG is very accepting of people in all walks of life and wherever they are in their journey in being more like Christ. I have never seen the church shun anyone that enters it's doors and there are so many members here are blessed with the gift of hospitality.

This church is really a home. There is something for everyone here and a truly comfortable spot. I did not know there was a church like this out there until recently. I am so glad that I found WEAG!

They were very helpful to my little church's youth group, demonstrating the unity in the body of believers and the family of faith.
