I so enjoyed going to Waters Edge Church. I volunteered in the coffee bar and had many friends. We moved and I fell very ill so I haven't been in a while. Can't wait to go back once I get better. Lovely Church great people 🙏 ❤️ …

We went to this church for a little over three years hoping to grow in God spiritually through the teaching and preaching of the Word. Unfortunately the church seemed to be more for entertaining people with Worldly jokes and skits along with at times playing secular music when first walking in at times rather than teaching true repentance and the truth about Scripture. A church should be a place where the word of God is taught in living a life fully dedicated to God with true repentance and following God with all your heart not based on going there to be entertained and leaving unchanged. The praise and worship is good but not what the preacher teaches or preaches, it’s a lukewarm church but with some good people that mean well. Don’t go to this church if you plan to grow in your faith and life with God. I would recommend going to Liberty Live Church which has been amazing with real truth and life changing experience for me and my family…

We called this church our home for almost 8 years. It became clear that the priorities of this church were all wrong. For years, we advocated for a program for kids and adults with disabilities. We were repeatedly told, even by the pastor's wife, that it was a budget issue. Yet there was plenty of money for new logos, fancy lights, merchandise, and staged production. It's sad that families like mine aren't welcome.

It has been a great experience for our family. First time churchgoers and always felt welcome. Nobody was pushy and everyone was very welcoming. Their daycare service is solid.

A wonderful place of worship to spend time with God! Pastor Stu and his staff are one of a kind. They really are amazing people and my husband and I really enjoyed growing here. If we were staying in the area, this would be our forever church! If you are looking to find your tribe, look no further. Water's Edge has people of all kinds and they will welcome you with open arms. We are so grateful that we will be able to continue to attend online from out of the state.

Such a welcoming bunch of people! It really was a fun experience to go to church and Pastor Stu had so many jokes. Not your "normal" church experience!

I was visiting Yorktown for an extended work trip. I was somewhat new to the area and used the ARC website to find Waters Edge. I’m really glad I did. The volunteer staff were very welcoming. The service was great and reminded me so much of my local church. If I’m in the area again, I’d happily attend again.

I had been attending this church for quite some time and yes the message and the worship is good but if we are fully committed to living for God why would we play secular music ? The Bible says we can not be luckwarm and this church is saying it’s ok to be luckwarm. We need to choose which kingdom we are serving either we are for the Trinity or we are for the devil we simply can not do both. Be careful where you go. God gives us discernment and it is just simply wrong to be playing music of this world in a place where we should be giving all the honor and glory to God.
