Positive, uplifting atmosphere! People were friendly and inviting. I visited on 3rd Sunday in July at 10 AM. Youth were in charge. They were outstanding. Very good Youth Choir also. Pastor Maurice Ferrell brought a life changing Word "Himpossible" St. Luke 5:4-11. When we obey God's instructions, all things are possible and the blessing is beyond what we can even comprehend. I asked God to show me where to go. I'm glad that I made the drive to Vance Street. It was worth it! I want to worship here again. If you are in the area looking for a place to worship and to grow spiritually, I recommend Vance Street. The Holy Spirit is moving there. It is evident that Pastor Ferrell is led by the Holy Spirit. I was blessed. I needed that word today as well as the entire worship experience.

My family and I truly were braced by the "Joy and Pain" sermon today. My toes are still hurting. Key word for me was "Patience". God bless you all.

Pastor Maurice Ferrell & his wife, Velma are an awesome team! They have a true heart for people & the Word of God that he preaches is authentic & is one of the many reasons why I decided to join Vance Street Church!

As soon as I walked in the very first time at the 10:00 service they were playing my song God Is. I knew I was at the right place so. I'm asking him for the right hand of fellowship and I hope they allow me. I was baptized in 1989 so I kept going back I want to sing in the choir.
