  When I first came to this church with my family was when my mother in law was being baptized. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and I haven’t been to church in over 20 years and this church was so different from the traditional church, more modern and up to date and tbh fun! I started going mostly every Sunday and even brought three of my other friends to try the church. Then one day the pastor said something that I didn’t agree with. That all religion was wrong, as a Christian-Buddhist I was offended. I believe that all god is one and of course different cultures will see god differently because Jesus wont come to people in Asia looking like a foreigner but come as someone they would trust, I do believe every religion is different but at the end it’s the same god. God wants us to love and respect each other, not talk bad about them. But I gave Thrive Church the benefit of the doubt and still went. Now for today service I won’t be coming back. The pastor said marriage should be between a man and a women. Love is love and if you love someone that’s all that matters and god loves you no matter what and won’t deny your happiness in love. It’s 2026 and I thought this church was modern and up to date and not stuck in the old tradition ways but I was wrong. I love god and god loves me no matter what. This church isn’t for me and I won’t be coming back. I will be going to Hill City Church for now on.

  I know 5 stars is the highest rating one can give yet hear me out as to why I give THRIVE CHURCH Chesterfield Campus 5 out of 5 stars: I am a Registered Nurse and Believer and I know what a welcoming church is like and I know what serving others is about: Nursing IS a MINISTRY.... I was searching for a church that teaches from the Bible. Secondly, I felt welcomed by several people my first visit (Brie, Amanda, and Paul) and each visit afterwards ( thank you TC) pointed me into a direction that was answering many prayers. I have been praying for a church home for 2 years and while searching and attending several in the Greater Richmond Area, I found it!!!! CHeck out Thrive Church!

  I absolutely LOVE my church! I have been coming here with my family for almost two years now and we are soo satisfied. After a google search we found Thrive and can truly say this is where God wants us to be. I was baptized here and it continues to be the best decision I have ever made.   Modern, Biblically-led, great worship atmosphere, refreshments, secure, wonderful children's zone, community outreach centered! I first attended this church at the beginning of a series entitled "Ask Questions" 2 weeks ago. I have been in church all my life, and I have never seen a pastor promote the asking of challenging, hard-hitting questions. Actually, some pastors may avoid and shy away from challenging questions. In this day and age, it's nice to see these questions being addressed in knowledge and in LOVE. Not only that, but Pastor Kevin didn't push anyone to believe a certain way on the subjects. He inspired thought and encouraged us all to read the word for ourselves! Beyond this, all the staff remembered my name when I returned this week. It really proves Thrive is Connected to the Community and their inherent desire to we are all NEEDED and KNOWN!

  Thrive church is awesome. From our first visit we knew its where we wanted to be. Friendly people, relevant and scripture based messages. There are excellent kid and youth programs that are bible based, not just baby sitting, though there is a nursery for the very young ones. A great selection of small groups, and special events as well. I especially love the baptism bashes we have! Thrive is making a difference.

  We love our church! Been attending here about 9 years. Pastor Kevin gives the most amazing sermons! Everyone there is always friendly and genuinely asks and cares about how you are. Kevin, Keith, Brian, Bonnie, and all the volunteers really make sure that everyone is taken care of!

  In the beginning of January I began looking for a new church since moving down this way. I researched & researched until I found a couple that seemed to fit my family. I then started watching online services and began narrowing down my search. I decided about 2 months ago that I would start attending services in person with my family & found that Thrive Church was what we had been looking for the entire time. My family absolutely loves it there. My kids thoroughly enjoy going to Thrive Kids and my husband & I love everything about the service from the music to what the pastor preaches. We are so happy that we made the decision to go back to church & we haven't missed a Sunday yet! I couldn't recommend this church more!

  I love Thrive Church. My family started going Sept. 2012 and the first service we went to was our decision maker. We felt so welcomed and we really enjoyed the worship experience. Since we've been there we've seen lives be changed and God is doing great things. Our Pastor Kevin Bordeaux shares messages that people can relate to and I have learned a lot. Come Check it out!
