The worship service here is unlike any other I've experienced! The Kingdom Church Of Emporia, Virginia teaches that the kingdom of God is within, according to Luke 17:20-21. Upon being greeted by the members as soon as you walk through the door is so refreshing. Then to worship there is like having a personal encounter with God! Quite an enlightening view that sheds an encouraging, loving light on my journey with learning more about Christ. I always wondered how I could cross every t and dot every i to be seen, heard, or even loved by God, but not only the sermons or "Kingdom Infusions" as they refer it as, but the prayer, and praise & worship there truly remind every part of my being of Christ's message of love to all mankind, no matter what race, creed, color, or beliefs. I've been listening to and practicing the messages from there every since my first visit and I have truly seen my life, my mind, my feelings/attitude, environment change for the better. If you're looking for a Sunday meeting place where you can easily feel that the people not only love God, but will show love to you, then this is the place to come. In the words of Levar Burton from The Reading Rainbow, "You don't have to take my word for it", experience it for yourself.
