  Love Restore and all they are doing in the community! This church clearly loves Portsmouth and Hampton Roads. The Kids Ministry is top notch, the sermons are powerful and based on the Bible, and these people are all about Jesus! I am so excited to see what God is going to do with their new expanded space.

The atmosphere is genuine, warm, and inviting—everyone here truly loves God and it shows in the way they love people. The diversity is beautiful, and you can truly come as you are without judgment. Pastor Marc is authentic and Spirit-led, delivering powerful, practical messages that speak to every heart. I love that there are groups and ministries for every age and stage of life, making it easy to connect no matter where you are in your walk with Christ. They even have dedicated services for middle schoolers and younger kids so parents can focus on worship and the Word. Everything about Restore Church is phenomenal. I’m so grateful the Holy Spirit led me here—this church has become my home, my family, and a place where my faith continues to grow. If you’re looking for a church that is welcoming, diverse, and deeply rooted in God’s love, Restore is it!

  One of the things I love most about our church is the focus on local impact vs. international missions. Restore is SO invested in Portsmouth I’ve never been to a church quite like it. Great people, service, and message, and really biblically sound while maintaining open arms to anyone who walks through the door

  My family and I started going to restore only a few months ago & have been so happy with our decision. As I grew more hungry for Gods word, I decided I had to find a pastor that convicted me of the necessity to become more Christ-like, not just sermons that leave me feeling “good”. I leave every single service feeling convicted, and I carry out my week reflecting on scripture taught that week and pastor Marc’s words. God is worshipped in music; a mix of hymns and modern songs which was really important to me- worship songs that honor God rather than all about “me”. We’ve joined a group - the people here at restore seem so genuine. We are very happy we found our home church! 😊

  Biblically sound doctrine, local community impact, and very nice people sum up my experience visiting Restore. The church loves Jesus and it shows in their heart to serve Portsmouth and each other. Additionally, they have a strong emphasis on growing in discipleship through small groups and meeting other believers and friends with fellowship events.

  Love this church! It truly is the place for the unchurched. My perspective of “the church”was not one that was inviting previously. After going one time I felt invited and eager to learn more. By the second visit they had already greeted me by my name. This has been the best place for me to learn and grow in the grace of God.

  Absolutely LOVE Restore Church and proud to call it my church HOME! From our very first visit 4 years ago we knew we would be coming back. It was Easter Sunday, so naturally a busier crowd with lots of excitement - yet we were still greeted, welcomed, made to feel comfortable and like we truly belonged. That sentiment has remained true ever since! We love the sermons, the people, the childrens' ministries, the missions, but most of all the love - the love between fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and the love for the Lord!   Restore Church is beyond any words I could ever post here. The first time we visited, we were sure this was where God wanted us to be. Pastor Marc preached a message that felt like he was talking directly to me. We ended up attending every Sunday, joining a group and serving for 3 years before military retirement forced us to leave Hampton Roads a year and a half ago. I have never had a harder time leaving a church. The impact the people here had on our lives will never fade. It truly felt like family. Several deep friendships remain. Come visit them. You won't regret meeting these wonderful people.

  We have finally found our church home! My husband and I have searched the Hampton Roads area high and low, but felt God’s presence the very first service we ever attended at Restore. Pastor Kevin and Marc are approachable and kind. Our kids are well loved and salvation is always preached (which was missing at a lot of other churches we attended). If you’re still looking for a church to call home, I highly recommend giving Restore a try!
