The rule for a good short story is there's nothing in it that doesn't fit the narrative, This church has a good parallel to a great short story There is no carpet No fancy painting No fancy windows No fancy stage No fancy communion table or plates There is lighting but it's necessary for their internet service. Sermon was basic.direct useful, no fancy extras Sermon touched on Following Jesus teaching outside the church Modern low volume guitar,drum keyboard with basic newer songs Padded chairs Lots of kids Lots of kids activities, Youth pastor I talked to really wants to make a difference in the kids and the community They do a food bank and Wednesday night service They are trying their best to put Jesus first without the frills, lots of friendly folks No suit s or fancy dresses in the congregation I wasn't looked down on for having ripped pants Good wholsome church and folks Parking is tight you won't be able to bobtail here Have to walk from truck stops ;grass shoulders
