  Before relocating for work, my husband and I had the privilege and joy to attend New Century Community Church in Roanoke, VA, and it truly felt like home. The church at 4215 Melrose Ave NW offers heartfelt worship blending contemporary and traditional music, along with expository preaching that's biblically sound and practically applicable every Sunday at 10:30am. The sense of authentic Christian community stands out—Pastor Chase Krug and the team emphasize loving God, God's people, and God's world through serving opportunities like children's ministry (LAMBS nursery and King's Kids), youth group (AXIOS on Wednesdays), young adults, outreach, and hospitality that makes newcomers feel welcome right away.  We have really enjoyed being a part of a small group that meets each week. Whether you're new to faith or seeking deeper growth, the church’s focus on prayer, discipleship, and fellowship creates real transformation. Highly recommend — go & experience it for yourself!

  Great church! They teach the Word faithfully and people are really friendly. People of any background can feel welcome. Most people attending here are young to middle adults, but anybody can fit in. Worship is contemporary and uplifting. They offer thriving ministries for men, women, youth, and children, and many new renovations are happening. This a healthy, growing church. The last pastor was great, and the new pastor is great too - a great pastoral team all around. I've been going there for about two years and I recommend it if you are looking for a place for Christian fellowship and faithful Biblical teaching.

  Change is often a very difficult thing in the life of a church body especially when replacing a pastor who is lived, revered and been there for many years. But, because of the solid foundation laid before, this church is experiencing new growth under it's new pastor. There is a vibrancy that's exciting to be a part of!
