Lighthouse Bible Church is different from any other church I've ever attended. Most churches I've entered I always felt like all eyes were on me and I was having judgment placed on me because of my appearance. But I was welcomed into lighthouse with open arms and not for one second have I felt like any of the church members I have interacted with thus far have judged me and every person seemed genuinely glad I was there and are always so friendly and kind and Gods constantly sending us what he wants us to hear through pastor Jay . The teaching was incredible! Many scriptures relating to life applications and relationships for today! I learned so much! The pastor made the Word come together in an easily understandable and relatable way!

I always leave here flowing over with love and a message straight from God. I feel the Holy Spirit that wipes away my fear and fills me with God's love that lasts all week long.maked me in a hurry to come back where I feel my God so overwhelmingly, and my church family that loves so fully that all they see what God is making us. I moved to Roanoke in Jan. 2018. I had been to several other churches looking for one where I felt like I belonged with no success. I had been referred to New Testament Baptist Church, and from the very first time that I walked into it. I could feel the genuine Christian spirit and love. That was in June 2018 and I'm still there.

My husband and I have been attending since December 2020.. we felt at home the minute we walked in.. welcoming people.. incredible music/ worship... enthusiastic Bible preaching pastor.. small group and Sunday School opportunities.. we'll be joining soon.. couldn't ask for a better place to worship and grow in God's Word!

Very friendly church. The 8:30 worship was contemporary and very good. The Pastor was biblical and filled the message with scripture. Nothing seemed rushed, and total service time was 1:30.

If u notice the 4.9 rating is from reviews from a year or more mostly. Not welcoming. Attended recently w my husband & while it was crowded, no one came up to us & spoke. (It wasn't due to CoVID bc they r not worried about that.) He went to car & I waited in foyer for his return & I might as well not been there. Meet in gym w loud music. While the praise team sang well, the congregants mostly didn't bc u cdn't have heard them over the loud music. Had heard it was good church but that's why u have to see for urself.

This is the most loving church.The pastor preaches Gods word .I am learning every Sunday about God.I have been a member for eight years .If you need a family church search no further.Come join us!!!!You will find this to be a house full of Gods people that will welcome you and love you as God loves his church.

I attended a movie night at Lighthouse Bible Church. Beside the great movie It has a good setting with free popcorn, softdrinks, and water. Everyone treated you like its home. Gave out tickets for door prizes too. The church is handicap accessable wirh plenty of parking. Restrooms were close too.

It was a nice Church, good service and I left there knowing that I really wasn't noticed except for the preacher that saw me waiting there for me to talk to him. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't even gotten a greeting from him
