My experience with this place of BUSINESS was beyond horrible. A family member invited me to this place. At this point in my life I needed spiritual guidance, especially after the loss of my Son. I opened up to this man and his wife who runs this place of business and the service that they were offering was not of anything a reasonable person or Christian would accept nor find tasteful. I had to stop going once I seen that they were playing with my falling love ones name. I was literally attending gossip hour. Then the service is praise dance for 4 hours and not even get a descent sermon on the word. Then when you become a member of the church the overseer, whom is a woman and is not supposed to be, wants you to get on her primerica team so she can get paid off of her subordinates, whom happened to be the members of the business. Listen this is a hustle, find another place. When I say hustle, I mean just like Ma$e. Research him if you don’t know. And I also see the ppl who are leaving good reviews are the members. It’s a shame. I would write more to warn people about, but there isn’t enough space.

I concur with my husband and there is truth to the things he addressed. It’s true we were invited by my husband’s affiliate because we were grieving the loss of our son. During our visits we were called out from the pulpit by Pastor McKinney for grieving too long, mind you our 12 year old blessing hadn’t been deceased for one year. At the pulpit we were called out for celebrating our deceased son’s birthday. My husband and I also sought out marital counseling via Pastor Keith &First lady. We both were really optimistic about receiving help from the spiritual realm. The ‘conditional love’ we received was not what we needed, it caused more hurt and confusion. I was all in, eager to learn in order to lead a righteous lifestyle. I looked to this church’s leadership to teach and guide me. It’s been over a year, I have yet to speak on this until today. I attended this church for about 6 months or so in 2021. By nature I’m an unapologetic, inquisitive, over achieving individual. I’ve been that way all my life. I genuinely enjoyed bible study. I always maximized my time during Bible study, so I’d use that time to ask the pastor, my teacher, questions in order to truly understand the content. Well one of the Bible study topics we studied was ‘Tithing’. I was ignorant to the word tithing. I learned that night that tithing meant 1/10. As I stated, I was eager to learn and grow. I worked on any assignments handed down by Pastor McKinney, which required me to study my Bible. I learned in the Old Testament Christians tithed live stock, agriculture, & time. However, things changed during the New Testament because modern day we tithe our financial earnings. I asked Pastor Keith, my teacher, during Bible study, at what point did the structures of tithing change from the Old to New Testament. I also asked if tithing produce/food and/or time, modern day would suffice. Pastor Keith’s response came out of left field. This man’s words verbatim were,”Who do you think you are? You think you’re more analytical than me?” At which point I was dumbfounded because I saw no wrong in the question I asked. He raised his voice, and began speaking to me in an abrasive tone. I spoke up for myself, Keith shot back that I was being disrespectful. He said I’d better respect my leader. He berated me in front of the entire Bible study audience for simply asking for clarity on the said topic. Keith never reached out to issue an apology or have a two-way dialogue. It was his way or else. I beg the question, is that what Jesus would do? Pastor McKinney called me right after the incident occurred. I explained to her how confused I was about how & why I was handled in such a manner. She pretty much took up for her son, there was no accountability. When I expressed how he hadn’t even attempted to make contact to iron out the wrinkles, she told me everybody don’t operate that way. Pastor McKinney in a really abrasive tone told me that I think I knew everything. I beg to differ the Pastor of a church should be operating from a Fruits of the Spirit standpoint. Leading by example is imperative. I wanted nothing to do with this church but before I walked away I contacted the Pastor and 1st lady of a different church to explain what I had experienced. I was still seeking out the answer to my tithing question, as well as guidance on how I can resolve this situation properly. I was advised walking away would be ideal but I needed to do things the right way by writing a letter revoking my membership. I typed up a professional letter and had it delivered as Certified mail, requiring a signature. Sadly, my letter was returned back to me unopened. There are always two sides to a story. All sides should be heard without bias! For the record, we are no enemies. Never have been, we came to your church in a peaceful and broken state. None of you are my God, neither of you sit right hand to my Father either. You all are human beings just like me. Only difference is you all have titles. I respect the human before a title. May God continue to bless you all.
