  I love this church and the sense of family and community it has provided for me. It feels like home! This church has been through so much but God has pulled it through and it has grown and changed in SO many ways. The congregation is one that is full of grace and a deep sense of our need for forgiveness and Jesus and the Gospel. It's a diverse congregation and one that seeks to glorify God in every aspect. The leadership team is sensitive to God's calling and wisdom to make God-honoring decisions. The messages on Sunday are packed with truth and leave you challenged in your Faith. If you are looking for a church family and home, I highly recommend Kingsway.

  If you're looking for gospel centered worship and christ-like teaching with wonderfully friendly people, you may have found a home. There has never been a time that I have attended that have not been challenged by the word from the pulpit. I also enjoy the Congressional worship with like-minded believers. If you like expository teaching, then this is your place. You will not be disappointed. Your gifting can flow freely here.

  Do not go to the church. I was raised down this church and came from a very well respected family there. Since leaving, I have been diagnosed with PTSD and will likely need therapy for the rest of my life due to the trauma I experienced there. My story is not unique either, many of who have left are in the same situation and didn't experience true freedom until we were able to escape. I don't want what happened to me here to happen to anyone else.

  We've been with Kingsway for about three years now and were there when the events unfolded concerning the senior pastor, which a couple of reviewers mentioned. Although it was a difficult time for the church, the remaining leadership stood strong in the gap for our bewildered loss. They were very open with the members about what was happening and repeatedly led us as The Body Of Christ, to pray over the entire situation, seeking truth and guidance from God. They offered counseling for those who were hurting and throughout the following months, made themselves available to all of us, at any time. The Bible is always taught in truth and the worship draws us to the heart of God. There are caring community groups where folks have bonds just like family. The church is strong on local and foreign missions, and does much to help the community. This diverse congregation is really made up of loving people who love Jesus and love everyone else as well.

  This church has been my home for the past five years. I am humbled beyond belief to be a part of this fellowship. The church has been through a lot in the past 5-10 years, but the body that is left is one that is humble and kind and aware that we are all sinners in need of Jesus. The people aren't perfect but a model of grace and hope. This church is one of the most diverse congregations that I have visited in Richmond. All services are interpreted live into Spanish, there is a strong emphasis on missions (both local and international), and people from all over the world. I highly recommend this congregation for any who are in search of a church home!

  My daughter does Character Works, which is private drama. This Church allows them to use the facility for practices and performances. It’s centrally located directly across from Midlothian High School.
