Tucked away down a little road at an intersection of 56 and the parkway, right in between Rockbridge & Nelson. Deeply peaceful place with the chapel sitting in a pasture with a cemetery and beautiful views. There is a covered picnic type area as well. Gorgeous in spring at dusk- I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in fall.

Always heard about the Easter sunrise service from family members. It is a beautiful service! Woodstove is popping & cracking along with the kerosene lanterns that are lit. Sing the older hymns. The people are friendly and welcoming. Easter & a September service are the only services held here. My relatives are buried over in the graveyard so I know they are watching over this beautiful church, the land and all of our ancestors. There are several caretakers and many watchers so please don't do something that would be regretted!!!!

Beautiful historic property with an old cemetery. There’s a guestbook hanging on the front door with messages & signatures from visitors. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

This beautiful chapel affords me the opportunity to experience the beauty and serenity of a peaceful and spiritual place in the midst of the turmoils of life in the world today. It is special to me as I have ancestors buried here and attended Fauber family reunions here for many years.
