We recently moved to Virginia and was looking for place where God dwells and miracles happen. We visited DWCIM and the atmosphere is electrifying with the presence of God. The church family are very welcoming and friendly. We attend this church every Sunday since we visited in September 2025.

This church doesn’t feel like a place of love or respect. While many of the positive reviews here seem to be from church members, my experience was different. I found the church to be erratic, with an atmosphere that felt unsettling. If you listen to the Pastor’s sermons on YouTube, you’ll see they’re often unprofessional and sometimes even disrespectful. It’s troubling when a Pastor airs grievances about members from the pulpit instead of addressing them directly, and even more so when the congregation cheers this behavior on. The church has an atmosphere of fear and control, and many members seem too afraid to stand up to the disrespect they face. There’s a dark, uncomfortable energy here, and I even felt there were people with questionable intentions among the congregation. While the loud music and preaching may get people emotional, I believe there’s a lot of show and not much substance. There’s so much I observed and witnessed here that it would be impossible to cover it all. Take the time to build your relationship with God personally, be the church where you are, and consider other places for your spiritual journey.

A church based on love and that’s what you feel as soon as you walk through the doors. Pastor D and Co-P are the best. They take their time out to make sure everyone feels welcomed and they truly care about your wellbeing, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Oh and the praise & worship team is AMAZING!!!
