  I've worshiped with Lynchburg First CotN several times in the last 15 years. The pastoral staff is dedicated to Christ. The church is concerned for the community. The music is fantastic. And the facility was clearly designed with great care for the whole family from young to old. If I lived in Lynchburg, this would be my church.

  If you are looking for a church home, please consider coming to Compassion Church. The pastors and staff are intentional about modeling Christ to our congregation and to everyone who comes to worship with us. The pastors are loving and kind, and they seek to live out the Word and preach the uncompromising truth of the gospel message! The Spirit of God is also felt strongly through the music. Compassion Church helps those in need through various ministries, including the food pantry.   I have attended this church for as long as I can remember, the preaching is so powerful directly through the bible and then explains after scripture has been read. also, there so many places to serve as well through the church. the food pantry feeds 1,000's of family's a year. i would definitely come check us out if you haven't found a church to call Home. We as the church LOVE GOD, LOVE OTHERS, SERVE BOTH!!

  This is the most welcoming friendly church I have ever been to in my life. I have been to many churches in Lynchburg and this one beats them all by being the friendliest. There are always pastors at the foyer greeting the people along with the greeters. The pastors are humble servant leaders that are very attentive and ready to answer any of your questions. When they say they don't just want you to be a number they mean it. They make you feel SO welcomed and make you feel part of God's family. My church family means everything to me. The pastors see to it that they remember your name. I was so impressed the second week when I came they remembered my name. I love the fact that the Nazarene Church puts a great emphasis on walking a holy life. The Word of God is not compromised. I love it that they have prayer meetings. I attend three prayer meetings. This church is backed up by a lot of prayer. I also love the Worship music. Pastor Mike Lyle is a gifted, anointed minister of music. Our lead Pastor, Stephen Willis, has been such a good role model as the lead Pastor for the other church leaders to follow. He shows such an example of humility. Pastor Stephen speaks very lovingly of his dear wife Lisa. They are a wonderful example of a loving family. Please come and check it out. See for yourself.

  One of the most welcoming places I have ever been to. Pastor Steve and his staff go out of the way to greet guests and to say hello to a new face. The messages are full of passion and teach the word objectively with subjective examples to help the congregation relate to the lesson. Most times, I feel convicted by the messages taught and leave reflective on the changes I need to make to be a better follower of Christ. I absolutely love this Church. I had found LFCN when I first moved to the area. I was going through some personal issues and needed guidance. Pastor Steve was an excellent resource. I can't say enough about LFCN.
