It's hard to find words to explain City On A Hill. From the first time I walked through the door I knew I was at home. Pastor Barry Absher preaches the word of God with God by his side. Barry, his wife & the congregation are the nicest people. They do so much for the community. God is always present in the service.

Went to a wedding and reception here. It was a wonderful experience, very clean, modern, and comfortable seating. Ceremony was on point and exciting. Reception hall was extremely comfortable and roomy.

Absolutely love this church, my family! We have an awesome Pastor Barry Absher & Carlene! We have an amazing youth group & Praise & worship team! If you don't have a home church I highly encourage you & recommend this church. You will be welcome with open arms!

Amazing services. I love our Pastors and congregation. Gods presence is always overflowing. All folks are welcome. So blessed to be part of such an awesome place. Always putting God first in everything. I highly recommend if you are looking for a home church .

What a wonderful place to worship. I just happened to be visiting in Virginia. I ran into a Girl named Nicki at the Fillin’ Station.(Divine Appointment?) Her and her Husband live in Tazwell, Virginia and she reminded me about City on a Hill. I hadn’t been there in at least 5 years. However I thought it was a great idea. Everyone was so friendly and the Preaching was on point. What a great sermon from my long time Brother in Christ Barry Absher. I look forward to visiting again.

Awesome Pastor with a Praise and Worship team that rock! The presence of God overflows not only in the church itself, but also in the sincere concern and kindness of the members. Everyone is welcome!

What a Spirit you can feel in the Church. God has been moving in the church. I seen Sunday where the Holy Ghost was moving strong in this church. When I come home I will be at this church. God is so good
