My husband and I moved to Charlottesville in Fall 2020 and visited several churches in the area before choosing City Church as our home. I especially appreciate the gentle approach to new visitors versus other churches that can kind of put the awkward spotlight on first-timers. As this was the first time we have ever committed to attending church regularly, it was a pretty big step for us to make, and City church has made it so graceful. We were immediately drawn to the beautiful worship and the thought-provoking and relatable sermons by Pastor Pete. I look forward to each Sunday and all that this growing church has to offer. Thank you to everyone at City for making us feel so welcome. ♥️

Great mix of age groups, backgrounds, and personalities. The pastors are excellent and the community is focused on Christ; I truly love showing up to services and being in fellowship with the people here.

I attended City Church to participate in a grief share group. I didn't see much of the church building as a whole, but downstairs was very nice. interactions with all were of a positive energy. thank you for allowing this group to meet there.

Large space with kitchen area and audio equipment. Has a lovely stage area and a small logging area. The church has been a great supporter of JABA.
