Area 10 is our church! We joined 6 months after to moving to Richmond in 2015 and quickly became integrated in to the A10 community. We love that this church cares so much about the broader Richmond community and challenges us to expand …

An extremely special place where God is working in so many ways. Whether it is your first time ever stepping foot into a church, a long time church goer, or somewhere in between you will be feel welcomed and at home here. The worship music …

We've been at Area 10 for almost seven years now. I came because of the location and the contemporary style, but I stayed because of the community of people who embraced my family and made us feel like part of something bigger. The leadership goes to great lengths to not just welcome new visitors, but to. Help the connect and establish relationships in the church. The children's ministry is well run by people who whole heartedly love kids and want them to know Jesus. I believe in the mission of the church and in the body of believers that come together to invest in their neighborhood.

A10 is an engaging place to be a part of. We felt welcome our very first Sunday - that was almost 4 years ago and we have been there ever since. I personally love the preaching. I love hearing the truths from the Bible and how it applies to our lives now. My kids love it there too - they want to go to church every Sunday. There is something everyone!

Very welcoming church. The worship is fantastic and the sermons are a perfect mix of providing quality content while never seeming like you are being preached down to. It’s an open and inviting environment for everyone, especially newcomers. Great focus on community outreach and connecting members outside of just Sunday mornings.

Thankful for a church which prioritizes a healthy interpretation of the Bible, spirituality, and is further willing to discuss relevant and difficult topics for God's glory!

Highly recommend Area 10 if you are looking for a church home in Richmond. Worship is engaging, challenging, and supportive. There are tons of opportunities to connect and engage both inside the church and out in the community.

6 years ago, I was wandering through life, focused on job, materialistic things, having fun but felt pretty empty. In my search for more meaning in my life I attended Area 10 based on a recommendation from a co-worker (shout out to Danielle Vincenti!). The music is exhilarating, the Pastor, Chris Barras delivers relevant messages in a conversational, humorous manner. I quickly made the decision to make Area 10 my home in faith, Chris baptized me, I became a partner, and every week look forward to attending (I am ashamed to say in the past before A10 I dreaded going to church and saw it as a chore). My life has so much more meaning now and my faith continues to grow. Through Small Groups and community service I have made so many friends who share the same values and faith as myself. Thank you Area 10 for changing my life.

Great worship community with an excellent praise band. The regular attendees are friendly and welcoming but not too invasive. Definitely a place where the individual can be as involved as they like without being pushed into committment.

Here's my short and sweet version: worship is great, sense of internal community is getting there, community outreach is top-notch, but the main reason I give it 5 stars is that the preaching is a rare mix of highly intelligent, thoroughly studies and well thought out content broken down into easy to understand, everyday language. Not a whole lot of christianese spoken here.

A caring, authentic and faithful community in the center of the city. I first came because I'm a film person and I absolutely love the classic architecture of the Byrd Theater, but I stayed because this is a rock-solid church.

Area 10 is great for the seasoned Christian or those that are curious to learn more. Nondenominational church focusing on the teachings of Jesus. Plus, A10 is a church that is doing real work in the city!

Use caution - more like a Ted Talk than the body of Christ. Ton of Brene Brown over a good number of weeks (infamous for her "divine self" philosophy) made its way into the teaching. Some weird theology beyond that. Felt like a self-help place with enough Jesus thrown in to call itself a church.

Our family has found a wonderful church home in A10. We are so grateful for the community, teachings, and relationships we have made.
