Our chapel, located at 617 East 600 North in Provo, Utah, is located two blocks south of Brigham Young University. A few students from BYU and the Utah Valley University, mostly married, choose to attend church services at this chapel. This gives the congregation a wonderful mix of young adults, families with youth, recent move-ins, and some who have lived for many years in the area. The result is a very friendly congregation. Visitors are always welcome. On Sundays, there are two meetings: The Sacrament meeting is first, and lasts an hour. It includes music, prayer and congregational singing, with a conductor and organist. The Sacrament is blessed and passed to those in the chapel. Speakers are generally selected from the members and talks focus on the Gospel, with Christ being the focal point. The second meeting, also of an hour duration, is for gospel instruction intended for Sunday school for all ages, alternating Sundays with a meeting for men and another for Women, covering ages 11 to 100. Gospel instructors are personable and want to meet and introduce those visiting or are attending for the first time. Also, the building is unique, in that a Family History Center is located on the premises. It is open for an hour following the second hour for those interested. Here, using computers and accessing different types of libraries via the internet, those interested are able to research their family ancestral lines. Language: Love is spoken here.

Loved our time with the congregation here! We received so much support and made so many friends in the short time we were there. There are also many congregations that share this same building so it is a great place to pop in and catch a meeting throughout the day on Sunday. Also really impressed with this group's dedication to Christ.

This is such a special chapel. Besides being a stake center (central building around which other religious groups from smaller buildings that sometimes meet), it was built more than 50 years ago, which means that it is completely unique inside and out. Beautiful stained glass and organ, family history center, basketball court, large chapel, wodonerful religious paintings, and more! Worth the visit!

The greatest thing is that no matter what LDS building you go to, they are all the same teachings and I feel welcome at each one. It's as if I have a home away from home, no matter where I go.
