  As a wedding photographer, I've had the opportunity to photograph quite a few weddings at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church over the years, and it remains one of my favorite churches in Utah. The architecture is beautiful, the sanctuary has a timeless elegance, and there is a sense of reverence and peace the moment you walk through the doors. It provides a stunning backdrop for wedding ceremonies and creates a meaningful atmosphere that couples and their families genuinely appreciate. From a photographer's perspective, the church offers so many beautiful angles and details that help tell the story of the day. The stained glass, traditional design, and natural light all contribute to creating memorable images. Beyond the beauty of the building itself, I've always found the staff and clergy to be kind, organized, and helpful in making sure wedding ceremonies run smoothly. Every wedding I've photographed here has felt special.   Before the Eucharist is given there is an announcement saying “ if you’re Catholic, you are welcome to receive the Eucharist. How about adding. If you’re Catholic and are in state of GRACE , you can receive communion “ brings so much sadness to my heart every time I hear this. But I love my parish .

  Nothing worse than visiting parishes and they don’t post what mass order they are following. Cool there is a mass book, but what prayers are you going to use? It’s 2025 get screens or post the info for visitors and those exploring your parish as a new home. Pretty campus. Alter girls is also a new one to me let alone senior citizen altar girls. Exploring Utah as a place to move as a Catholic has been disappointing.

  We commute about 30-40 minutes to worship here from Saratoga Springs, UT. It is a diversified aged population church but I personally love that it also feels like a young family parish with lots of young children, and a very active community. It is a great home church for my young family. I love the moms group and meeting up for Bible Study or moms night. The priest and staff is wonderful as well. We baptised our youngest at this church and I will say that was probably my least favorite experience with a baptism and this was our 3rd child's baptism. There were a lot of rules and it felt very strict so it was tough battling versus feeling like we are celebrating an exciting milestone for our child. Eventually the excitement came on the actual day. Nonetheless, we are still very happy to call this our home church.

  I've found many sermons to be dry and a bit boring, but Father Tilley does a good job at making them relatable and, at times, a bit humorous. He is a good speaker. My only complaint is how loud many of the children are, and the parents don't seem to care. The scenery there is nice, both indoor and outdoor, but parking can be a bit tough for a few of the Sundays each year. Most of the people who attend are very nice and the clergy is kind and welcoming as well.

  This church is beautiful and you can tell the clergy really care. The building is a very modern Roman Catholic Church. The Sunday Mass seems more contemporary too, with the instrument being a soft acoustic guitar versus an organ with a large loft choir. Lots of natural light flows through so the sanctuary is well lit, and the stained glass windows tell a beautiful story of our Savior.

  💗Father Tilly🎉 is probably the Best Priest my family & I have heard in 60 years in 10 different states! He has a Special gift! He knows how to share the gospel in every day understanding! Thank you for keeping UTube channel so we can watch from a distance when I'm not in Utah ❣️He really cares about his parishioners!

  I came from P. R. to help my young son settle in town for his new job. I am glad we visited the church. The homily was very touching and inspiring and the church is beautiful. The community looks very happy and like a busy church. I am glad we visited your church. I’ll be back whenever I visit my son. I’ll be praying that my son will come to this church..

  Very lovely place for worship. Mass times are really good depending on your schedule and quality of service and church leadership is excellent. I am still new to the area but I enjoy coming here, and if you speak some German/Deutsch, you will feel at home here. Lots of diversity too.
