God lead me to this church in Salt Lake City today. I meet many new friends. The worship team was awesome. The message was spot on, clear and concise. As usual, exactly what I needed to hear, funny how that works. 5 stars all day long. Thank you for being so wonderful and welcoming. I enjoyed the fellowship we shared! God Bless, and i love you all! I personally am not religious at all and generally don't get along well with religion. This place though, was actually quite nice and not over bearing like most I've been to just to check out. Loved the live music and especially the singer sandy and the drummer! Would highly recommend to check it out, at least once. Even if you're not into religion.

Nice People! Not the most welcoming crowd but alright. It was a but hard to determine the exact denomination but in short they are Reformed Baptist/ Calvinistic lite.

Hello everybody, I just want to let everybody know I was raised Roman Catholic. I came away from the Catholic Church maybe about 4 years ago. The Catholic people are such cold people the priests are also cold if you don't run in in their circles and do a lot of stuff for them behind the scenes they just completely ignore you. I lived in Florida for 40 something years and a few years ago my daughter came into town and found me a non-denominational church. And I fell into Orlando North a wonderful Church wonderful pastor Pastor Rob. I now live in Utah and we came across this church my daughter used to go to prison life. Absolutely wonderful loving people you feel like you know them all your life. And finally I know what it's like to be close to Jesus. In the Catholic Church they don't teach you about the Bible it's so repetitious. At a non-denominational Christian Church they teach you about the real thing about the Bible I absolutely love it the stories in it can relate to your life. If anyone's listening out there and you live in Utah and you need a nice Church to go to risen life is the place to go......R.V.

Risen Life church is a beautiful place to attend Christian services. All attending pastors are well grounded in the Word of God. My wife and I like attending the 9:30 service and then we have a wonderful Sunday school class after that. This is a church that preaches and teaches the true Word of God as presented by the Gospels. No wolf in sheep's clothing here, just the truth of God's plan to redeem your soul. The worship service is terrific because there are super inspirational songs and best of all, the music director, Sean, sings in a key that the majority of the congregation can sing in without straining their voice to reach some elusive high note. Come and worship with us, you will be blessed. Download the Bible App called "YouVersion" to get a great and powerful Bible App.

The women’s bible study group which meets on Wednesday evenings is wonderful. Bible-based, supportive, real and open. You will find an accepting group of women in all stages of life; no perfect people. The church is currently offering three services. I like the 8:30 am outdoor service in the parking lot. But there are two other services that meet in the church. All of the pastors are caring and thoughtful men who are gifted speakers who study God’s word & have hearts for the salvation of their congregation. The environment is one of grace. The men’s ministry is strong and supportive. The music ministry is blessed with gifted musicians. It’s a warm environment for those seeking fellowship & bonding with a loving body of Christ. Children’s ministry is strong & they have plenty of ministry opportunities. Small groups allow for fellowship outside of church. A mixed group of people. Young and older. Biblically solid. They teach the Word with love.

This will always be my "home" church here in Utah. Came here and was welcomed with open arms. Elders and lead pastors are godly men who have made a profound impact on my life and many others as well. They offer two services (first is traditional, second is contemporary but both have the same sermon message). A great place to get acclimated to Utah if you've moved here from out of state.

Picked up a group needing transportation and the 'Pastor' made disparaging remarks about the LDS church. I don't care what religion or beliefs a person carries or believes in. Why do you care what I might believe in or hold dear? Why is it so important for these kind of persons to attack other people and their beliefs? Can you extend to me the same respect I offered you? Not impressed with the oil in this Pastor's lamp.

Henry Chandra, I am sorry you had a negative experience at our Church. I think the disconnect here is that you wanted to drop off your kids in the child care? If you do this the Church must get your information for their protection and the Church's. If you just want to come to the service with your kids there is no requirement to provide any information. All are welcome. I hope you find the perfect place for worship.

This church has been a tremendous blessing to me and my family. I'm blessed to have had a great opportunity to learn and grow on the staff here and now they are assisting me as I'm serving to plant a church in another part of the Salt Lake valley. Love these guys!

Jesus wasn't in attendance the day I went. But, to be honest, I didn't stay the whole time. You'll probably have better luck if you don't leave early. Bring your own wine and crackers, they don't serve them here.

Have had a wonderful experience at Risen Life, it has a welcoming body of people that have become like a family. It's staff are hard working, well educated and experienced. The Elders are easy to go to for advice and mentoring.

Amazing place to worship God. Been going to this church for 31.5 years, and I've also gone to other places on another day. I love being able to serve the body and God. This church is great with being able to plant and communicate with other churches well.

One of the healthiest Christian churches in the salt lake valley. The leadership is super strong and healthy. The church has been nothing but a blessing to me and my family.

Its Jesus thats most important talk in every aspect of a Christian church or any other church and if you do believe in the power of Jesus's message from the Bible then this church is it. There's only one way to eternity up in God's kingdom and that is his son. Churches should be the foundation of truth.
