  It's a beautiful temple. The grounds are lovely and spacious. There is plenty of parking. They have finally built a distribution center out here now so I don't have to drive down to Salt Lake valley for that.

  My wife and I had the opportunity to visit the Deseret Peak Utah Temple for the first time, and it was such a beautiful and uplifting experience. The inside of the temple is absolutely stunning — the stained glass with the purple flowers and the elegant design throughout were truly inspiring. Everything felt peaceful and reverent from the moment we walked in. The temple workers were wonderful — kind, welcoming, and filled with a good spirit that made the whole experience even more special. I love visiting temples whenever I travel or take vacations, and this one was definitely memorable. It’s another reminder of how each temple is unique but carries that same feeling of sacredness and calm. If you ever have the chance to attend or just see it in person, it’s well worth the visit.

  I'm so happy to see this temples completion. I love to go to the Temple and growing up in Grantsville the closest one we had was in Salt Lake. What a blessing it is for many of us to be able to now have a Temple closer to take a break from the world and have moments of peace and service within the Lord's Holy House. How beautiful it is to me.

  The temple is the best place on earth. I'm so glad we have this temple in our valley, it makes it easy to go many times a week, and not have it consume the whole day. Every detailed design makes it so very beautiful. Someone once pointed out the pink and purple flowers, and that the purple represents the earth, and pink the heavens, so the temple is where earth and heaven meet. The temple is very clean and well kept, as someone who hates messes and loves things to be tidy and organized, I love it. The temple bring me peace and joy, I couldn't ask for a better place to feel the Holy Spirit. I will continue being worthy to go, so I can feel peace and guidance!

  Visited during the open house. Beautiful location and beautiful temple inside as well as the temple grounds. Will definitely visit again. I drove with friends from Eagle Mountain. The trip there was a simple, smooth drive with nice scenery.

  Took my son Kevin to look at the temple up close(from the parking lot and sidewalks) in the evening. It's lit up so beautifully, Kevin was in awe.

  A Holy Place on Earth. It was a privilege to go tour this amazing edifice. There was an unmistakable spirit of peace residing here that helped connect me and my family to heaven, even if it was just for a few minutes.

  Absolutely beautiful temple. We saw the open house not so long ago and everyone was so kind to us during our experience there. The people were great at explaining what the temple is about and how temples make us come closer to God. I give it a five star because I don't know how our experience can be any better!

  What a beautiful place inside and out! There are so many design elements in this temple reflecting the location, from the flowers and native grasses incorporated into the rugs, walls, and windows to the copper dome reflecting the mining heritage of the area. The inside is both breathtaking and peaceful at the same time. What a credit and compliment to the Tooele Valley!

  I can’t wait until this beautiful temple is finished! Visiting it today reminded me of this quote by pioneer Sarah Pea Rich: "Many were the blessings we had received in the House of the Lord which has caused us joy and comfort in the midst of all our sorrows, and enabled us to have faith in God, knowing He would guide us and sustain us in the unknown journey that lay before us. For if it had not been for the faith and knowledge that was bestowed upon us in the Temple by the influence and help of the spirit of the Lord, our journey would have been like one taking a leap in the dark, to start out on such a journey in the winter as it were in our state of poverty, it would seem like walking into the jaws of death. But we had faith in our Heavenly Father and put our trust in him feeling that we were his chosen people and had embraced his gospel and instead of sorrow we felt to rejoice."
