Bunch of hypocrites. My boyfriend was escorted out because of a family that volunteers there. They have a past a bad one but there was no reason for him to be kicked out. What happened to forgiveness. Practice what you preach. Another church just all about expanding and tithe. Not really about the principles of the gospel and demonstrating Christ like behaviors. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

I loved worship, and the people...they were warm and welcoming. The service was beautiful. I did not like that book of Bible and verses were not on screen. Passing the baskets around is antiquated. Their FAITH in GOD that HE will provide could be lacking? Sherry Goldman

Great church for both families and single people! I love the Sunday Bible study at 9:45 AM. They offer wonderful, Bible-based classes for every age—my toddler, my elementary kids, and my youth all have their own groups, which is such a blessing. The community is warm, welcoming, and truly caring. You can feel the genuine hearts of people who love God and are filled with the Holy Spirit. Canyon Church has been such a beautiful place for us to grow in faith. If you are looking for a real Christian, bible based church I Highly recommend Canyons chruch

Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Isaiah 40:3, quoted in Matthew 3:3, Mark 1:3, Luke 3:4, and John 1:23. But I am here to attest that this is the bride of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ a church that doesn't just make it sound or look good, they literally saved my life God bless you guys Sunday it is on. May the blood of the Lamb, bless those who do the work of our Lord Jesus Christ. !!!! Thank you!!! Truly....

We recently started attending Canyons and love it. They offer Bible Studies on Sundays, a children’s program and Bible-solid sermons. Pastor Justin Cordery is a young, sincere, humble man with a passion for the Lord and people. He preaches clearly from the Word and honors God and others. He served in the US Army and graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary, a non-denominational evangelical seminary in Dallas, Texas. Pastor Mike and all the Bible Study instructors are also strong teachers of the Bible. This is a friendly church. A welcoming and safe place to be real.

Much loved congregation that has been a beacon in Cottonwood Heights for several decades. One of the few Protestant churches doing Sunday morning Bible Study for adults and kids. We are there for each other, and love our Jesus and His word.

I love this church! The building is beautiful, the people are welcoming and they have a great children’s program. I love that they offer a Spanish service and have an ASL translator during English service. The worship is a mix of classic hymns and newer songs. It’s modern yet still classic and reverent just how church should be!

We are not members at this church but have stopped by for their Halloween festival and our kids have gone to their Vacation Bible School. They always do a great job with their programs and the people we have met there have been very encouraging. I know they keep Jesus Christ number 1 and the church has been a blessing to our family despite just coming in and out at different times.

I love Pastor Mike Pless Sermons! His sermons point out Biblical aspects of the Bible that I never considered. After a sermon, I like to go and study the Bible to learn more of God's word.

I was in town for work and attended the 832 am services here two Sundays in a row and was welcome with open arms. It was a smaller group of early birds who made me feel at home even though I was far from my actual home. If your looking to set roots in a church family, or just passing through like myself I suggest Canyons church. If getting up at 8 on Sunday isn't your thing they have a 11 am service to accommodate you.

Sunday 3/31/2024 was such a beautiful experience. I loved the beautiful service and worshipping together with English and Spanish speaking God Loving people. What a blessing to OUR SAVIOR.

Today I went to a Christmas tea at this church with my grandma. I have been going for years with her. Today the women’s ministry leader spoke so negatively about the lgbtq+ community, the president, and talked about being ashamed of parents for allowing their kids to listen to this disgusting stuff being taught. The worst part is she did this in the name of Jesus. Preaching hate is never okay. People began to stand up and leave and her talk got more and more hateful. I will never go back here. This is not a place of God. This is a hateful place. I am disgusted that this minister decided to speak so negatively in Jesus name.

We love Canyons and our wonderful church family of 24 years. The Bible studies and worship services truly focus on Christ’s love.

Love the friendly and loving people. Multi Cultural families give this Church a unique atmosphere. A mixture of traditional and charismatic worship is found during the 11AM service. The 8:30 service is held in the.gym where a more informal format is held. Tables and chairs with attendees conversing with the Pastor. Sometimes a Continental Breakfast is served. You are welcome to have your cup of Joe while attending. There are several Bible Study Classes available at 9:45. All ages and even Women groups. Nursery available for the Bible Study and 11AM service. Tuesday a women Bible Study group with Nursery available. Awana for the younger children with dinner available before they meet on Wednesday evenings. Call the office to get the menu and reserve your place. Most of all come be a part of this loving Church. I was to this church for a medical screening I wanted to give a shout out to the Canyons Church for letting the medical screening people come and serve the community people. Your church is very nice and comfortable.
