This is the Musallah / Masjid to pray Jummah Salah and Taraweeh prayers in Downtown Whitby. The Islamic Centre also have community events including EID Salah and Community Iftars, Potluck etc

Alhumdulillah so great to have a masjid in the heart of downtown Whitby. Been going for Jummah and Taraweeh prayers. They're always organizing community events like dinners and senior programs.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a truly wonderful experience at Whitby Muslim Society. From the moment you walk in, you feel a strong sense of peace, community, and welcome. The mosque is very clean, well maintained, and organized, which makes attending prayers and programs comfortable and enjoyable. What stands out the most is the kindness and hospitality of the community members and volunteers. Everyone is friendly and respectful, and they make an effort to welcome both regular attendees and newcomers. It really feels like a place where people come together not only for prayer but also to support one another and build strong community bonds. The mosque provides a beautiful environment for daily prayers, Jumuah , Taraweeh and special gatherings during Ramadan and other Islamic occasions. The khutbahs and programs are meaningful, educational, and inspiring, helping people strengthen their understanding of Islam and their connection with Allah. It’s clear that a lot of dedication and hard work goes into maintaining such a positive and spiritually uplifting space. Have been praying Taraweeh here. They also have Friday prayer here in this musallah (masjid) inside the church. A nice community place

MashaAllah, clean and accessible place to pray Jummah and Tarawih. A good option for people living or working in the area. Public parking lot across the Masjid.
