  We loved the organized way the temple had the Durga Puja and Nabami celebrations in 2025. We went there for Nabami aarti puja and anjali. The atmosphere was solemn and powerful. The priest was compassionate and engaging. The flowers for Anjali, too, were given systematically. The volunteers and people were all welcoming and no one felt left out of the celebration. The bhog was excellent. One could make out the devotion that had gone into making the bhog. People were not unruly in the line. Various stalls of food, saris and jewelry and the lighting truly made our day so festive and devotional.

  A devotional place dedicated to goddess Kali. Place also hosts festivities like Durga pooja etc. Currently (30th September 2025) Durga Pooja Festivities are going on. Following part of review pertains to Durga Pooja Pandal. We visited hoping to witness the Pujo environment that is electrifying in India, particularly Bengal. While the presence of the folk largely represented same vibe and spirit, the organization part of event leaves much to be desired. It was almost unmanaged. Nobody around knew the timing of pooja rituals an aarti, no information we could see. We gathered from devotees present that the arti time is 7:30pm. The info booth had only one man busy in eating prasaad. We waited for Aarti to begin, the sound system appeared to be in control of a DJ playing punjabi songs, the announcer appeared to have only one duty - asking the devotees to keep calm and be silent in his hesitant manner. Eventually we left without witnessing Aarti after waiting for long and well past the 7:30pm as designated time informed by many devotees. Somehow the feeling of the Pujo was missing, pandal was lined by many shops occupying much of space, selling indian clothes and ornaments. Hope the future eve ts will have more of pooja and less of commercial vibe.

  Toronto Kali Bari, a Hindu Temple, in the City of Mississauga was established over 35 years ago and is maintained as a safe, common place of worship to protect and showcase the rich traditions of Hindu culture.  The best part is the goal they hold to provide a comfortable place where peaceful celebrations are aimed to further the well-being, prosperity, and overall development of our community. Love visiting there every time, especially on any occasion.

  Toronto Kalibari is a beautiful Hindu temple dedicated to Maa Kali, where all major pujas are celebrated according to the Hindu calendar. I recently visited during Mahalaya for tarpon, and I often come here for other festivals as well. Their Durga Puja and Kali Puja are especially famous, drawing large gatherings and creating a truly spiritual atmosphere. The temple is very well organized, and after the pujas, devotees get to enjoy the delicious bhog, which adds to the experience. A wonderful place for prayer, celebration, and community for Hindus in Toronto.

  Very pretty decoration. Best part is one side church, another side is a mosque and front is Kali bari... I don't know where in the world wee have all the three together... It's wonderful.

  This temple is very nice & known for its daily kali pujo. I have visited during Durga pujo. Durga pujo happens in separate pandas ( tent) . Entry fee is free but you can donate whatever you want here. Nice to visit during puja times.

  Wonderful place to visit. They have events organised during the festivals. We had a really good time. We visited during Durga puja and we had a great experience. The volunteers are also very good and helpful. The place is also conveniently located.

  Best place to go and peace your mind. Being a Bengali from Kolkata I miss going to kali mandir and any mandir here after coming to Toronto . But this place is close to heart. It was my 5th visit and I’m always very much welcomed and blessed that I could go there. The organisers and the people there are very good and welcoming and also the puja is done in very good way. Also the bhog they give is amazing. Very much organised and deciplined I’ll say. Thank you. It’s 2 hrs from my place from downtown Toronto is near malton but still I can go far to get such peace of mind.

  Very well decorated....there was a separate tent put up with beautifully built deities...wonderful experience to see everyone dressed up and in joyous festive mood...good food for every one....the aarti was great....attended yesterday..on Sunday that was naomi.

  Toronto Kalibari is a peaceful spiritual place to sustain the calmness of mind. Very neat and clean. Daily puja is offered to Goddess Kali Mata. It's a very famous and renowned place among bengali people residing in Canada. The great thing about this Toronto Kalibari is it's environment. It is situated just in front of a Mosque and Church. Thus a complete harmony of many religions can seen over here.
