  Rising dramatically like a Phoenix above the pastel buildings of downtown Hamilton, the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity also know as Bermuda Cathedral is the mother church of the Anglican Diocese of Bermuda, it is a Restoration Gothic-style Anglican church and the seat of the Bishop of Bermuda. It is Located at 29 Church Street in the City of Hamilton, it features a magnificent Revival architecture. The cornerstone was laid in 1844, after a major fire, in 1884, the current structure was officially completed in 1905 and consecrated in 1911, it was built from native Bermuda limestone and decorative caen stone imported from France. Inside you’ll find polished Scottish granite columns, ornate stained glass windows, arches and an ornate wall behind the altar containing sculptures of Christ and several saints. If you’re up for it, climb the approximately 155-164 stairs to the top of the cathedral tower for panoramic views; look west and you’ll see as far as the Great Sound of Bermuda and even Royal Naval Dockyard. Entry is free but the tower access cost $5 to climb the stairs to reach the Eagle’s Nest. Climbing is opened from Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm. I recommend this spot if you are interested in history, architecture, religious touring, nature or just having fun. It is a spot friendly for families and children.

  Truly a hidden gem! For only $5 you get the best view in downtown Hamilton. It doesn't mention on their website this fact so go inside the church, go to the office towards the front of the church and ask to go to the top. It opens at 10am. The views are great! The architecture is unique! The church is beautiful! It is a fun journey with narrow stairs to the top, enjoy!

  The oldest and prettiest church on the island. You can also pay $5 and take the 164 stairs up to the eagles nest roof, which has the best views in Bermuda. The steps are steep, but the view is worth every step.

  Nice church...very quiet not crowded. It seems like they take care...big and beautiful gardens around it. I'm not sure if it is open every day for the whole day but I think I was lucky to see it.

  Absolutely beautiful, a must see for people who love visiting churches and cathedrals. There’s some beautiful architecture and wonderful stain glass windows. I suggest doing the audio tour where you can walk around to different stations. So much history here and highly recommended!!

  The beautiful church is easy to spot in the Hamilton skyline. The church is a great stop for a look inside and to view the amazing craftsmanship of the building, stained glass and woodwork that make up this place of worship.

  The cathedral was beautiful. They have an audio tour but unfortunately it didn't work for me. You can also climb the tower on weekdays.

  This cathedral is beautiful and well taken care of. There is no a/c, and doors are open, but fans keep it comfortable.
