My Aunt (Sister Maria Sarto) served the reservation for 25 years before her passing. I grew up collecting fabric, food, clothes and other necessities for those 25 years and had fond memories of the many Navajo men and Women coming to the house to pick up our finds. She would use the items we gathered to either teach or support many families on the reservation. She inspires me to this day to help others and to be unconditional no matter who you are helping. The lights still flicker off an on no matter where I go and I think she may be letting me know I have an angel watching over me. Would love to do more for the Mission and Reservation to keep her legacy going. Her grave is there at the Mission and one of a very few non Navajo's buried on the reservation. Flying high on the wings of Angels. RIP!!

DavidCookLosAngeles , I had the pleasure and honor of spending some time at St Anne’s from 93-96. Sister Maria is an Angel and was an incredible woman. She brought a light to my life that I will always hold dear.
