Sommerfelder Church

The Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church is a Christ-centered congregation in Winkler, Manitoba. We offer Sunday services at 10:00 am with Sunday School during the service for children. Our community emphasizes living out the faith through actions and teachings, and we sing traditional hymns throughout the service.

The Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church is a body of believers dedicated to following Jesus Christ and spreading His teachings. We are part of a larger network of 13 Sommerfeld churches in our conference. Our Sunday services are held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, and during the service, we have Sunday School for children. We sing traditional hymns at the beginning, middle, and end of each service.

During the week, we offer various ministries and activities such as Adult Bible Study, College and Careers, Youth, Ladies Fellowship, Local Church Choir, and Children's Clubs. These programs are on break during the summer months. Our vision is to live out the faith of Jesus Christ by example, sharing God's love through our actions and teachings. We believe in the importance of teaching our children, youth, and congregation about Jesus and His plans for us.

The church is led by several pastors and deacons, including Rev. Art Wiebe, who is known for his caring nature and commitment to the community. We have a strong sense of community and welcome newcomers with open arms. Our facilities include a church building located at 189 2 St, Winkler, MB R6W 3N2, Canada.
