Our Lady of Fatima Church in the Fatima neighborhood of Parral, Chihuahua. Construction of this church began on August 9, 1953, by Father Agustín Pelayo Brambilla, who laid the first stone on the western slope of the hill where the "La Prieta" mine once stood. It was consecrated on December 8, 1954, by Bishop Antonio Guízar Valencia. The church, dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima, who has promoted the recitation of the Rosary since 1917 in Portugal, is characterized by its stone walls, which are adorned with a completely mined stone cladding made from metals extracted from the region's mines. Inside, there are 210 individual stone seats that represent the boundary markers of the mining concessions.

Our Lady of Fatima is the patron saint of the miners of Parral. This church has a rustic style, built of limestone, as its communion rail is made of rough stone and oak logs. Its 210 cement pews are arranged symmetrically, its walls are covered with stones from the mines, and the candlesticks are made of oak logs and hang from ropes. The Church of Our Lady of Fatima has two crosses made of bent oak logs; one is placed on the facade, above the main door, and the other crowns the tower.

It is a very special temple, it is built near the entrance of the La Prieta mine, which is the founding mine of San José de Parral (today Hidalgo del Parral). The benches are boundary markers used in the mines and everything in the temple is made with materials from the mine, even the altar.
