A friend’s mother passed this month. She was the first to marry in this church in 1950. So many came out to pay tribute. The priest had changed the time to fit his schedule and at the service informed my friend he would not come to the gravesite as he had a meeting! What utter disrespect and disregard for this lady and her grieving family! Disgusting behavior which left the funeral director to have to step in to do what the priest should have done. On top of this he still expected full payment! Terrible representation of the Catholic Church!
